Well its pretty easy to see how there have been so many more friendly fire incidents in American armed forces, when compared to British forces.
Mainly because America has seen about 1000 times the fighting, had 1000 times the soldiers, and 1000 times the planes, tanks, bombs, and bullets in
the air.
Thats pretty easy to figure out, the more you do something, the great your chances to screw up.
As far as pilots go, I can only speak from an outsiders standpoint, but I would assume British pilots are also well trained, though, America spends
much more time and money training its personnel, so maybe American pilots have more training?
America is a land of flaws, its government is in serious need of overhaul, the economy is in the can, people dont have healthcare, people cant afford
to heat their houses, or fill their refrigerators. Half the products we make have quality issues while still maintaining a large price tag, we cannot
compete on a global market. Unfortunately there is one thing America IS good at, RAW MILITARY POWER, we have more troops, equipment, and funding than
ANY other nation (HELL probably any other continent)
Its a double edged sword, we run rings around the Brits when the fighting starts, but when you focus on almost every other matter we are in the dark
ages. I mean, when you think about it, whats more important?
I love my country, but sometimes I wonder if it loves me back.
(think I just added a whole touchy-feely thing to the conversation) sry
btw, I love Britain too, I am of English background, and always wished I had been born there.
I type this while watching Top Gear!
