Hi TomServe I just want to say that it is not safe to assume anything, it never is. Prediction is one thing, assumption is another.

I predict that before August 1th 2011, there will be an event in the US politics that will affect the americans.

Am I dancing around the Qs? I like the way you put it. I guess I am being careful because I don't want this thread to suddenly blow out of proportion. An event - will occur - 9/29 possibly before - of a magnitude that will literally take everyone's breath away - for some it will be their final gasp - but it is a hugely positive event for humankind - a turnaround - a new paradigm - change as opposed to progress. I guess it is vague but do you really want me to make up stuff just to fill in the blanks? You can do that yourself if you want.

NoHierarchy, hi. Where is the cynicism? You have thoughtfully itemized 2 possible reasons for this thread. If this prediction has given me the opportunity to achieve one or both of them then that will be a blessing indeed. But you want exactness so I will tell you this: I know what I know.

I predict that in October, or BY October, the economy will crash (again)( even though it has already crashed, the engine is shot, the driver is dead and the car is just wheeling down a steep hill into a river polluted by a nearby nuclear station, where that river leads to a waterfall, and where that waterfall has a 100 meter fall, and where the landing is extremely rocky and fatal.

I also predict that there will be an earthquake in the next 2 months which will be high on the Richter scale.

Two obvious things predicted.

I am also in the business of making predictions but the one prediction that I can make came to me in a dream. See I do agree with the number of the date of your prediction but it is the wrong month. Whatever is going to happen is going to be on the 29th of July, which is only a couple weeks away. If anyone would like to know more details of how I stumbled upon this little prediction of mine, feel free to ask.

AnotherSun, hi. I really like that, thanks, it is very meaningful and significant except I don't fully agree with the unconscious man within us part. Its not really acceptable for us to surrender to our fate on the basis that we can't effect change on a conscious level. By allowing 'progress' to lead us by the nose into oblivion in the belief that we have no choice anyway is absurd. If we were to initiate change and set it upon a straight course we would not have to keep consciously steering it because it would just evolve anyway so long as its path is clearly envisioned. The path exists, people just don't see it yet but they soon will.

You've provided no details, no worries. But here you are announcing a very vague prediction and when someone suggests something that could have relevance, if not be part of the prediction itself, you immediately dismiss it as another prediction.

This in my mind just destroyed NOT the credibility of your prediction, because I always take these things with a huge grain of salt anyway, but your sincerity and in particular, your integrity.

You see, you cannot have it both ways - on the one hand provide no details of your earth changing 'event' and then presume that a prediction presented with details is a prediction other than your own. You can't do that because going by what you have outlined in the OP and repeated throughout this thread, you DON'T KNOW what the event is.

I also believe in the rapture event and there will be a 'new age' on earth post rapture and this event will probably shock a lot of people, and there will be a new paradigm immediately post-rapture for a period of time. I too thought that it may have some relevance to your prediction, but according to you it doesn't, even though you don't know what the event you predict is.

Sorry to come across in this manner, but I think if you cannot provide details, which is fine imo, then please do not presume that someone else's prediction or interpretation of the 'even't' is not one that can relate or otherwise be the same thing because you do not have a monopoly on it, even if the revelation was given you.

I'm not sure what you are saying but I am not one of the chaff if that is what you do mean.

I predict my 10 year old cat will hack up a fur ball by the end of this month, at the latest. I also predict it will take her breath away, at least until her throat is cleared of the fur ball.

My prediction is based on long term observation of said cat, and her fur ball hacking habits. Also by how much fur ball remedy I feed her.

I predict, my prediction will be more accurate than yours. We'll just have to wait and see.won't we. Also, I will be more than willing to take a photo of the fur ball once my prediction comes to be, and post it here as proof. So there!
