Ok, forget there is an electoral college, and popular vote actually won.

Now assume you could vote for anyone in the country, reguardless if they have political ambitions.

Who would you vote for? Why?

IF they aren't known on the national stage, why should they be?

I would vote for Sheriff Richard Mack. In these days full of corrupt LEOs, it's refreshing to see a member of law enforcement stand up for the Constitution and against corrupt people, including the Federal Government. He would definitely get my vote! (tho I'm voting for Ron Paul in the current election)

Why would you vote for someone who doesn't want to run. That's a wasted vote. If he wins are you going to force him to take office?

But just to play along yeah I'd go with Chuck Norris too.

I second that. I'd have also have Bruce Campbell as his running mate. With Sheen's tiger blood and Campbell's boom stick, we'd be unstoppable!

I have to say it. If this were the case then Al Core would have been president instead of George W. Bush.

Anyway, if they took away the electoral vote and I could vote for anyone. I would stop writing in Mickey Mouse!!
