Did that guy actually say: "Canon maritime binoculars"?

As in, a pair of identical or mirror-symmetrical telescopes mounted side-by-side and aligned to point accurately in the same direction to give the viewer a three-dimensional image?

In that case he might want to take it back to the shop, I think a prism needs to be re-aligned.

I agree with a couple others. The audio track was an excellent choice!
