Can Anyone fill me in on the developments of Nanotech and fuel cell please?
I think it is scarry, I heard rumors that China use nano tech for food? Does this make sense, regarding the price of the Nanotech, or is it cheap.

And about fuel cell, in early 1990's media print their development, but why suddenly dissapears?.

Thank You

Fuel cells work, they are used by NASA where low cost is not a primary objective.

For more earthly applications, there are several problems with fuel cells, the platinum for one cell costs about $1500, and there are problems with catalyst poisoning. Here's the wiki: en.wikipedia.org... , use Google for more info.

Regarding the nanotech, I know what that is, but I have no idea what rumors you're talking about. There are rumors about huge alien bases on the moon too, that doesn't mean there are any. You have to do a reality check on sources of rumors and even your question doesn't pass much of a reality check without a source.

As Arbitrageur said, I don't know of what you speak with regards to Nanotech and Chinese food. You'd have to elaborate or provide a source so we can better understand what you mean.

As for fuel cells, they've been around since at least the 70's (see NASA) and the tech is being improved upon as time passes. Cars have been released with fuel cells, but the infrastructure is lacking in most countries when it comes to providing the Hydrogen these cells need.
