On Tuesday, President George Bush nominated Porter Goss, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to head the Central Intelligence Agency.

Before confirmation, Congress should fire these questions at Porter Goss at his upcoming CIA chief hearings.

Would Porter Goss swear to commit full CIA resources for the purpose of prosecuting the person(s) responsible for leaking the fact that Valerie Plame was a CIA undercover agent to the press? That leak is known to have badly undercut each and every CIA field agent's confidence that they could freely report intelligence without fear of reprisal from the Bush Administration. Since this is one National Security issue where George "Slam Dunk" Tenet let us all down, will Goss commit to repairing the damage?

Why didn't he use his position as Chairman to the House Intelligence Oversight Committee to demand that the White House clear up this serious national security breach? And why hasn't he used his chairman's position to "shake up" the CIA after they utterly let us down on 911?

Florida Governor Jeb Bush obviously had foreknowledge of the 911 terrorist attacks when he put his Florida National Guard was on full standby alert for his brother's visit to Florida on 911. Will Goss publicly reveal how brother Jeb knew and why the rest of us didn't?

Can Porter Goss tell us why so many terrorists flight-trained in his home state with such ease? Can he provide some explanation about the mysterious flight by the bin Ladens out of Florida just after 911?

Can Mr. Goss explain why he has chosen to block recent probes into the American torture of P.O.W.s?

If Mr. Goss will be such an "asset" as chief of the CIA, then how does he explain the fact that as chairmen House Intelligence committee he was hosted a breakfast meeting on Capitol Hill on the morning of September 11, 2001 with Pakistan's Chief Spy General Mahmoud Ahmad, the alleged "money-man" behind the 9-11 hijackers?

Can he give us more information about his 1983 coc aine connection to Iran Contra and why he actively sought to cover up that scandal?

Can he explain his involvement in Neil and Jeb Bush�s Destin Country Club development fraud and SwissCo International?

What about those notorious pre 9/11 "put options" that Bush's SEC Chief Harvey Pitt swore to trace? Will an agency under Goss produce the names of insiders that traded on terrorism on 9/11?

Which leads to one last question... Can Congressman Goss tell us how he can be worth over $53 million dollars on his salary as a member of the House of Representatives?
