Philosopher, just turned 40, Son of my Father and Father of my Son... Hello !

Hello everyone!

I'm a 40 yr old Philosopher from the mountains of Scotland.

After a life altering event or two in 1992/1993 I was awakened onto a path of enquiry. After 10 years reading and searching for answers, there was no certainty, little clarity and too much argument about what was 'right' or 'true', I applied for and was accepted into University to study Philosophy and History, thinking that the truth would be clearer after a 'proper' 'education', I emerged after 4 1/2 yrs with a Joint Masters Degree and masses of research, as well as a little more insight into the situation and near certainty that the Powers that Be firmly control everything.

I am personally sure that we are living in the End of Days (End of Time!) and the near future will be pivotal for us all.

After 5 years up here in the wilderness on our hill-top (above 1000Mtrs) secluded from much of modern society, I felt drawn to jerry-rig an internet connection using my nokia n73 as a modem.... that was dec 31st, I found ATS by the end of Feb, and have been enjoying your users coverage of events marginalised or ignored by the MSM...

I look forward to authoring some threads (now I have more than 20 posts....) based on my 18 yrs of research.

Can I ask? What area of Philosophy draws you ? Or is it a gereral love of 'wisdom'? just curious? :-)

My particular area of Interest is Fundamental Philosophy branched with Philosophy of the Mind....
Hermes Trismegistus; Socrates; Rene Des'Cartes; and Baruch Spinoza V's Materialism and Physics... :-)

Thank you very much , from Scotland, i'm glad to have found ATS, at least some of the people in here know enough of the truth to have a conversation with them, Out in the Matrix, the MSM coverage vis a vis the general Apathy, is where the REAL insanity lies.. he he he ( I Hope maybe :-))

So far I've enjoyed some of the Threads very much, but I have realised that sometimes there is some sifting required.
Also, you come to see, after a while, that there really is quite a 'flow' of information coming out the firehose... But , everything factored by time, we can only do what we can do eh!

Oh BTW, an old friend once told me "If you ever talk to a Texan.... ask him which is the BIGGEST State in the USofA..." so, if I may?... " Which is the biggest State in the USofA ? " ;-)
