Indeed and well done on your preparedness. But don't forget that most of the population will NOT be as prepared as you. Best hope they don't look in your direction unless you are deluded enough to believe you are Rambo. Best hope as well that you don't require modern medicine/surgery. A bunch of herbs has its limits you know.

yes, and we would be going back to our roots and how our ancestors lived. Of course I think the first people to be taken out will be the ones, who know nothing about survival and have spent their lives on the internet, gaming, and facebook sites, and watching TV to pass the time! They will be the ones running to their Government, going to the police with their petty problems, only to find out that they don't give a rats ass about us. They will also be the first ones to loot, and damage cities and towns, because they can;t handle the stress. I say let them take themselves out!

Meanwhile the people who are prepared and know how to grow gardens and such, can head to the hills, and get away from the chaos. Yes, I think things will work out better that way!

Nope not stupid just woke up 3 years ago and realized that this reality of ours is Hell on earth. No I don't think I am "Rambo" I guess being prepared for something that Nasa warned about since last year btw, is being stupid, well i am glad I am not a "normal Person" then!! Thank God for that!!

I don' think there is anything wrong with being prepared and knowing thing or two about growing your own food! Hell I think my life is a lot better than most. at least I am not on cell phone counting how many text messages I got that day, or did I make enough phone calls to satisfy my personal life. I don't go on my facebook all day long, hoping all of my friends will sit there and make stupid comments on something that is completely meaningless to the next person. Nor do I sit on the couch all day flipping through thousands of channels on my TV, only to realize OMG there is nothing on! Nor do I give a # about what trials are happening, what supermodels are wearing, who is the coolest in the music industry, and why can't I be like so and so. Which makes you normals pretty stupid!!

No I am not normal, and I happy i am not, instead I expand my mind by reading books, choosing sites like this and choosing which forums to read, and yes even preparing for something to happen. I would rather be at least halfway prepared than having my head up my ass going, "Duh!! WTH just happened, I am just a normal person and I didn't know this was going to happen, durrr!!" Think about it before you call someone stupid for being prepared, and yes even though i am female i know how to shoot a mean rifle, and a handgun, and I won't hesitate to shoot someone if my life or family's life were in jeopardy.

solar flares already have a history of destruction on earth by overloading power lines. One of the saddest things that could happen, if the FDA goes ahead with a GPS air traffic control system (versus current radar) is that if and when the GPS sattelites are fried....all the planes in the air will be in chaos.
