Star Count Off... Anyone else?

Being a new member, it was easy enough for me to check this once I noticed a post I had made received stars, but the counter didn't move. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

Hi. I just tracked down one of your posts, starred it, and the counter changed.
Maybe whatever was wrong, has been repaired?

Yes. It did change. Thank you. But the stars that didn't show on the counter before, still have not. Strange.

You are welcome to all my stars. It is a worthless system unless you can assign negative stars as well. Then it would be a true indication of the consensus thought.

My reasoning was that I would think most members would look at your star to post ratio. But maybe its not as relevant as I thought.

I'd say that after a while on here you tend to know which members you identify with and also the ones you don't, after that stars to post ratio doesn't really matter.
