No one is shooting holes in my idea for one microwaves cannot penetrate closed surfaces two armor piercing bullets use hardened steel. If my shield is harder than your bullet who gets mushed like a stick of butter falling from a 4 story window?

Where you getting the massive microwave and the massive power supply to operate it????

The best armor plating you can get is tractor trailer leaf spring stacked and tacked from seam to seam with a pre-catcher of sand bags, the only thing better would be ice blocks of sawdust 4ft thick, so you better move to the artics to keepem cold

Actually I am shooting holes in your idea...
those armor piercing incendiary rounds I listed are designed to melt threw armor like yours...
the rounds are filled with a small amount of termite... it's not that the bullet just zips threw the steel what happens is the termite melts threw and subsequent round blast the remaining apart... in that case a simply dirt retaining wall(Berm) becomes a better choice....

the military has spent a lot of time money and research on new and better ways to defeat armor... the local cops might not be able to get at ya... but the national guard surely will...

Any Radar system can do this. The time it would take would depend on the distance and frequency.
