So I will start by saying that I am by no means an expert in either field. This is why I am asking instead of telling. Not only will it serve to help
in my quest for more understanding on the subject but it might just put a damper on the threads posted with 2.3 and 3.5 EQ's happening in areas of
constant activity. Actually, I don't even post those ones myself.
I thought it would be interesting to weigh in on both sides of this subject. Who is right? Wrong? Deluded? Why the delusion...MSM, ATS, Fear of
ridicule? Mob Rule?
Big subject I know.
So for EQ Experts and Social Psychologists:
I have heard so many people stating that it'll never happen or even not for another 100 yrs or so on the West Coast of N. America. And then there are
still others that expect it any day now.
I am wondering if the people of the opinion that it'll never happen are extremely knowledgeable, in denial for self preservation purposes or just
completely unaware of their surroundings? If knowledge is the answer, experts please weigh in.
And then the people that state it's going to happen tomorrow. Are these the ones with the knowledge? Or is it paranoia? Maybe even just boredom and
wanting to add some spice to life? Or Doomsday wishers? I have come across sites and threads on ATS where people are actually disappointed that they
woke up to a normal sunny day. Room for the psychologists input here.
There has to be a common link here someplace. Just wondering what others might think. My thoughts for the thread is that if it can happen everywhere
else (and it seems to be) it can happen here. My scr shot explains it. Tomorrow, Next week or even a year from now, I don't know.
I'm just trying to approach the topic from a logical view and to put it all together as it has become a hobby of mine. Psychologists here? lol
I have also noticed a lot of people posting more and more vids such as these. I usually don't put much stock in these as I usually catch the EQ's
before a video gets posted but thought I'd post them anyway.

It can be expected and thus predicted, but when remains unknown.
Better to live and enjoy that sunny day instead of being afraid by fear mongering.
So a spiritual base? Never thought of that. Live and let live.
But the question remains, why would some people choose this approach and not have any interest in the science which may (or not) be the difference of
preparing for an event?

People saying "it'll be another 100 years" have proven to be more correct...

So I'm gonna go with that.
Peace
Unless of course those people said that 100 yrs ago.
But look at it this way, 100 years of expecting a big one every day versus 100 years of thinking it'll be another 100 years.....doesn't have any
actual influence on the event itself.....so I guess it's a matter of preference.
The truth is, it can happen any second. I've heard some scientist say it won't happen for 100 years, I've heard other scientists say we're 100
years over due..
In the end, you can 'live and let live' or 'prepare or not prepare', but there's just no way to predict or prevent, so I think
'stress or don't stress' should be out of the question.
I say LIVE! and maybe prepare, but definitely don't stress
