Thank you so much for this Movie/Interview/Doc - If there was anyone ever made his case so distinctly it's this guy and each and every one of us should be standing behind him.

After watching - I couldn't help but ask myself the question: Is this why they've built the Bunkers and Feme Camps - not to protect themselves from Comets or Third World War -

We made this country off the premise united we stand. when everything goes down, and when all the confines and powers that be come crumbling down, and they will, mainly because the people leading us are just that people just like you and me. our world is run by oil. it is the only thing more powerful than governments and monetary systems. it is everything from the dirt that grows your vegetables - to the plastic that makes your car. it is in EVERYTHING. a world without oil is a world thrown back into the dark ages... you know why? because you can't even make the technology needed to make other energy sources possible WITHOUT OIL.

what is it going to take for people to open their eyes and see that we are going back to nature, we are not continuing this fairy tale world of consumption. it's not gonna happen. it can't and it never could continue indefinitely, but some people knew this and had too much invested in all your money so they didn't let you see it coming and they sure as hell aren't gonna tell you until they absolutely have to. why? BECAUSE THEIR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON YOUR SLAVERY TO OIL. idk what makes you believe that some holy rollers and saintly people lead us... no in a world of corporations and big bank accounts the only thing that matters is the size of the number in your bank accounts, and some people don't want to let that go cause it's all you know... and i get that i really do it's scary as hell to believe that EVERYTHING is a lie.. but it is. your career, your car, your house, your bank account, the number of "friends" you have... none of that matters.. never has never will. you can be the richest, smartest, most popular, best looking person in the world and still be miserable...

you sir are a classic example of deer in the headlights.. you may see it coming, but you aren't going to do anything about it.. hell you may be in denial of the fact, but you know it's coming. i did my part by at least spreading the word that we have a problem headed straight for us whether in 1 yr - 1000 yrs. either way the time to prepare was yesterday, and unless you can provide any evidence of said 'oil reserves' and that they will be able to carry THE ENTIRE WORLD'S demand for oil, then you're argument is invalid. (and don't say you don't wanna do the work for me i've done the research and don't see said oil fields that will stop this from happening)

I watched this video on Netflix along with several others about peak oil as well as that video about the exponential function.

Many of the responses in this thread that I have read fail to understand exactly what exponential growth (and consumption) really mean.

If we were going to avoid the catastrophe that peak oil is there would already have to be major, and I mean major moves away from oil and a curbing of growth.

But growth is what our economies are based on aren't they. Infinite growth is required for success.

I got news for you - there cannot and will not be infinite growth.

Our so called leaders have led us into this mess with no way out but over the cliff - they know it and are preparing for it.

It is a real mistake IMO to throw out the problem of population growth and limited resources as only NWO propaganda. All they have done is seize upon a very real problem to make a case for ever more control by them over us.

They recognize the problem and are using it as an excuse for us to except their solutions. But why should we? They are the major contributors to the mess in the first place. They enjoyed the excesses on the way up and will enjoy the lives they are accustomed to on the way down at our expense.

If you are waiting for aliens, Jesus or new miracle technologies to save you from what is coming then your going to be in for one hell of a surprise.

That's a big if. And since the masses are really stupid (and I mean REALLY!) then that technically makes the Elites smarter.

The last thing I heared was that oil is not a fossil-fuel as we always thought or were learned it to be.

There are interesting rumours that empty natural oil reservoirs will fill up due to natural chemical processes.

I also heared about the rumour that one of the biggest oil-field ever lies under North-America.

And I also hearded the less good rumour that alternative cheap and clean energy sources are available but kept from the consumer for political and corperate corrupt and egoistic greedy reasons.

And I also heared the rumour that everything will be alright if you keep faith in the person that you are and in the honesty and goodwill of other people that will always be around.

"Abiotic oil" (non fossil related oil ) is a controversial issue; What's not controversial is the fact oil fields are not just open caverns full of liquid,but porous rock strata like a potato. Even if oil is regenerating itself by some undocumented process deep in the earth's core, the migration through the porous rock takes time to refill. We are extracting alot faster than it can ever refill.

So whether oil actually is "abiotic" or it is deposits of decomposing ancient algae is moot. it still takes millionsof years for reserves to form. We are using it faster than it is created.

IMHO I believe the:" Petroleum is/was a one time gift" theory; We should be using remaining reserves to start the transition to absolutely anything renewable even if it is only 80% effective(imho).Waiting for a "perfect exact replacement" for petroleum energy is risky.

I agree they have been doing all the things you suggested. But they are not God. They make mistakes. They get sick and die. They bleed. They are not invincible. They made the bunkers to protect themselves from the things that are coming. That is my humble opinion. But obviously I'm not as brilliant and all knowing as yourself so please ....

ok that is probably as optimistic as your going to get considering this statistic is from someone who wouldn't want you freaking out about there being very little oil. so my guess is that this is a stark over-statement.

especially when the following is true

now for the theory that there will be "more oil made"

In the report, the company said that the world has as many as 1,238 billion barrels of oil in proved reserves [source: BP]. This equals about 40 years of uninterrupted oil supply --

so my question to you is how do we have more oil? our consumption has gone up(proof comes later), yet somehow we just keep getting oil... i'm gonna have to call BS on BP

But BP's report invited a hail of criticism from oil industry observers, who waved off BP's data as unfounded. Specifically, the criticism comes because member countries of organizations like OPEC receive funding based on the amount of oil they hold in reserve. What's more, say critics, the figures reported by individual countries aren't audited by outside sources [source: U.S. Government Accountability Office]. In other words, member countries may have the opportunity and the motive to exaggerate the number of barrels of oil they have in reserve.

Doubtful. Most of the wealthy today were both born smart and rich and went to preppy schools i.e. with their own kind.
