Hello from Southern Oregon!

Hello ATS!

I've been a regular visitor / lurker for about a year and finally got around to signing up today. I have read many great posts from many great, like-minded people on the forums and hope to partake in some great discussions in the near future.

As you read, I'm from Southern Oregon and have pretty much lived in Oregon my whole life. Have traveled a bit over the course of my life and there's no where else like Oregon. I love it here.

I'm into studying everything from the NWO, Secret Societies, UFOs, Aliens, Our Universe & Solar System, Planets, Solar Power, Survivalism, Guns and much more... I am a firm believer in the barter system and community based living, gardening, true anarchism and herbalism. I don't like thieves, liars, in-fighting, stupidity (which should be painful) and ignorance, bigotry and racism.

I like many things: Traveling, Camping, Hiking, Guns, Gardening, Natural Medicines, Herbalism, Plant / Herbal Botany, Music (from Punk, Metal, Crust, Grind to Reggae, Ska, Dub and More), Truthseekers and much, much more...

I have enjoyed reading hundreds of posts here on ATS and I hope I can contribute in a positive way the best I can and am glad that I have found this site.

There is nothing like jumping into a big fresh pond. I, like you, have been lurking for a long time and have finally signed up. ABS is addictive! I can't stay away and I'll bet you are reading as many hours here as I am. Congradulations on doing your introduction. There are many bright folks here and I hope they are gentle with new people.
Oregon is the home of many of the people who have left the central part of the country, and I have heard of the wonderful opportunities for outdoor adventures. Have one for me.

YO from Coos Bay! good to see a fellow mossback on ATS. And like that Texan says gun control is a good aim but then a Southern Oregonian hunts in brush so thick it will eat a house in ten years LOL.

I know you Oregonians don't like your southerly neighbors much, but howdy from the far north state of California where the summers will blister your soul.

Pity that the great state of Jefferson never made it to reality...I could stand to lose the lower part of the state and keep all our water.

@ Minihaha - Yes, Oregon is a great place for any and all outdoor activities. It's a blessing to have many rivers, lakes, mountains, etc. to go to within minutes of any City/town... The wife & I just got back from a camping trip here on the Rogue River, which is about 5 miles away from my house. We'll do something fun for ya this summer for sure!

@ Mustard Seed - Hello fellow Oregonian! Have been to Coos Bay many times and have a few friends that live near there. Love the Oregon coast! Agreed on the gun control! Haha...

@ Sauron - Thank you. I will definitely be reading those links and staying informed on all the ATS concerns and guidelines.

@ czygyny - Agreed. The State of Jefferson should be it's own entity and secede from the rest of the States. We live in a world of our own here in Southern Oregon / Northern California! And FYI, the best place to go camping near where I live is actually in Northern California, but you can only get to it through Oregon, unless you travel many hours through crazy roads/trails from the Happy Camp area. It's called Cook and Greens, it's just south of Applegate Lake. So beautiful up there!
