I do not regularly focus on alien life forms/intelligence, but after glancing upon other threads about aliens and an agent, I decided to share a story with you. Nonetheless, let me tell my story. A while back, I used to be best friends with this one person. His father was in the Air force, now working as a corrections officer. His father was what you call the average American. Difficult to explain; nonetheless let me re direct you to the main point. On day when I was over at his house eating dinner, my friend brought up the subject in a humorous manner of his father visiting Area 51. Then I glanced at his father, he was getting a little rigid. His father didn't react negatively to this, but he agreed and said yes I've been there. Knowing they were sworn to an oath of silence about this topic I decided not to ask any questions. Then my friend asked, are aliens real? His father went rigid again and became almost detached and cold, and said in an emotionless tone 'There is no proof.' I knew he was lying, I had a feeling he was and he did show signs of it. I can't come to any conclusions to this, because I don't know anything about his career and so on and so fourth. Your thoughts?

How can you tell he was lying?

People like that will usually confess such things on their death bed. They have nothing to lose at that point.

Kinda makes you wonder what the penalty is for spilling the beans anytime before that.

You fell deep right into their very well maintained and thought out trap.

Aliens and UFOs are now proven to be utilised as an effective cover story conconcted by the CIA to disguise the OXCART and other test airframes when they had to be flown in daytime.

All sightings were of a high altitude silver flash / glint and of course Groom didn't want their secrets out so they set people along the 'aliens OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!' path.

His demenour then made sure you thought nothing of the secret stuff and everything of the cover story. What better way to hide than in plain sight?

There are many traits to tell how people are lying. Staring hard at you, moving of legs and arms, gulping, touching of nose and many more.

What i am trying to say is that all personell who go through Groom would rather make you look another direction that actually at the direction of what they really do.

The CIA loved the UFO field for covering their secret work in a weird and wonderful camouflage scheme. They took the ball and ran with it (as they do to this very day)

I'll get the evidence another day. However evidence the CIA did and do this there is indeed.

I don't know that he was lying...he said..."There is no proof"...pretty strait forward. Can you prove alien life exists? Nor can I...so I would say he told the truth...there is no proof!

I guess you never met an alien before?
Hopefully it won't be long before we ALL know the truth!
Just don't discount anything YET...........

I haven't either and do believe life exists out there but I also agree with Astr0 based on declassified information and testimonies of the first employees at Area 51 when it opened.

They allowed the site to be thought of as a secret place with loads of myths and perpetuated the ET story by not speaking and letting those outside make up what they wanted about it so they could do their testing and Cold War spy planes and weaponry in secret.

Some of them did have one telling line which all mentioned separate from each other on the show I saw recently to help tell their side of the story to those who wouldn't want to read mountains of official and declassified materials.

The line went (im summary):

"I'm sure Groom Lake and this Area 51 thing might be used to cover up an even more secret base, we just don't know"

I could certainly believe that because as recounted in the files and on the Nat Geo show about it, each person in the facility and working on materials to be used in Groom Lake only ever knew what they were working on and never what it would be used for. Such as the tailor in Boston who fitted suits for the pilots to wear during test runs on the U2 (I think?) spy plane in the 50s and the pilots talking on the show stated that the tailor was told one thing and not let in on the fact the suits were being worn for high altitude flight.

Interesting story, I may be misreading between the lines but sounds like your friend had been told more about this supposed Area 51 visit than the 'Yea I been' style response he got while you was present. Did you ask your friend about this when his father wasn't about? I sure know I would have to try find out any more details!

Also depends if the friend was told because he had an interest or what because while I hate to go on testimonies from a tv show, one of the test pilots who worked there in the 1950s said his wife believed his story of him being a tv repairman and another said he was barely home for weeks at a time and even then never told his wife or kids where he actually worked.

And how do you know all this? Is this your theory or did you read it somewhere? How can you say with such certainty that the alien "front" is just a cover story? That is all I want to know. Also, why would they use the "alien front" when they can just say weather balloons or swamp gas?
