Unflag .. Seriously ?

Just saw the new option to unflag a thread

I found that quite useless and unprofessional for such a big site

Most people when they flag a thread its because it deserve attention
also the source, story and opinion of the member creating the thread is credible and well written

the only thing the unflag option could be usefull is when a member edit is thread completely
in another direction .. but its very rare someone do that.. never saw someone do that before

if we star a post .. its because i agree with what he say
he can also change it.. but wont be able to take off my star

S&F should be perm
no one have time to go back to a thread reread it all over again to verify if its still the same
and decide if his flag stay or not

And next we'll have members saying that ATS admin will use this function as a coverup for altering a threads popularity by deleting flags..

How would we know??
