My heart still pumps a couple of extra beats when I see the u2u lite up,I always think "oh heck what have I done now?"

I could not for the life of me understand what you were talking about...but today my message icon was flashing and my first thought was something about the media center (because I have posted quite a bit about it) but it turns out one of my posts got removed for being off topic.

I have maybe only had a half dozen posts ever removed...and to be honest it made me feel kind of special that the mods remembered who I was and thought enough about my post to remove it as a way to say "we care about you and how you contribute...and this U2U is just a reminder of how special you are".

I now have a new guilty pleasure and depending who is on shift in what threads...I am going to make sure I get my "we care about you" U2U message...

You`ve had about 6 posts removed in 5 months since you registered

I think thats all I`ve had since I`ve been here,since 2004

Maybe because back then if you crossed the line they`d take you out back and beat crap out of us,I`m still scared and nursing injuries.

Kids nowadays think yourself lucky.

In all seriousness I thought ATS was better back then,the Admin and staff would often play pranks etc on the membership and I loved all of that and still do when people post a prank for a laugh (not to be confused with hoaxs) but as it was against the T&C`s of knowingly posting false info the stick in the muds got all upset about it.It then got stopped.

This is why I know that even though the Admin and Staff may come across as harsh sometimes they still can have a good sense of humour.

Ya...ya...kids aye? What a nice compliment...thanks...although my own teenage children would probably not think of me as a kid...

I know...it's terrible...6 posts in 5 months...thats like 1.15 posts a month on average...it must be the bad boy in me coming out and causing hate and discontent.

Not all of us are ATS angels...and play by all the rules...your going to have to get out there and live a little your a goodie-goodie...and everyone knows thats no fun.

You can't take a couple little beating from the old days and use them to ruin all the fun...suck it up...its not always time to play nice...

Yes I`m a goodie goodie, I was beat into submission.When ATS had an online store(maybe they still do?) where you could buy ATS hats mugs Tshirts etc as a form of income I suggested some ATS kneel pads so we that have submitted wouldn`t eventually develop calluses on our knees.

I thought this verrrry interesting.

You know... that one is a bit older than the link that was up just like that a few months ago...awesome fun that was...I have never seen so many mad members assembled on the same thread...good fun indeed.

The one I just linked to, the clue is in the date,always be on your toes come April fools day.

Forgotten how many times I`ve been caught out.

This is from about 5 years ago...
I thought this was hilarious but it wasn`t April fools or a prank to start with, when you get a bit of time read all 7 pages from start to finish(and is another big reason to check the dates people!) HERE I dont want to add the spoiler,but I`ll give you a hint,pay close attention to moderator posts and their date of posting then watch the chaos that happens and see peoples edits getting caught out and embarrassed and some get very angry and try and ask for the thread to be shut down so people cant read it and all they are really doing is putting the thread back up to the top with their post,so more people can be caught out by the OP from the Admin.

I just had a pretty good look around for the store,I think its gone as advertising is way more profitable.
