Not true. As part of the 2011 budget they asked for money to conduct 8,000 search operations on Buses, Amtrak, Public Transport and at Public Events. If you have followed all the News on this, you know that the only reason that these searches are not happening on all transport is they don't yet have the funding. It will be implemented incrementally as we are conditioned.

The false argument we don't have to fly is a sure sign to me I'm winning the argument. I have to fly to earn a living. I also live in Anchorage and if I cannot fly, I can never see my friends and family again. Many have stopped flying because they emotionally cannot handle being viewed naked or being touched by strangers and having even their genitals groped. For some people it is so emotionally painful they give up travel. They are being punished in fact, having done no wrong.

The real problem with that argument is that you assume people should give up their rights freely for no good reason. TSA makes them not one bit safer and that can be so easily proven it's sad that anyone uses that argument at all. The real travesty is people having their rights to travel freely taken away by those who control them, simply for the sake of conditioning and controlling them.

As our Freedoms are slowly chipped away if we don't act now, we soon won't be able to act. Right now it is possible to turn this around if enough of us wake up in time. We can do it peacefully and lawfully. No government in history has ever stood up to a united people. They must keep us divided to control us in the first place.

I agree that the border is drastically being ignored at a great risk that will happen eventually but that doesn't mean that other aspects of America's security should also be overlooked. Here is an example of why increased security in this day and age is necessary:

I wish none of it was required but the world is not the same place it was 20 years ago either.

Why do you believe the TSA wants to have control over your every movement and what's in it for them?

Do they profit somehow by this?

I appreciate your argument and i'm not saying your anymore wrong than I may be but you seem to be leaving out an important piece of the puzzle.

What interest do they have in doing this?

There are numerous theories as to how they gain and being a tool for the NWO would be one of them.

As far as monetary gain (another theory) there is a list here on what COULD happen if they are not reigned in. IMO, if the possibility is even remotely possible, which I believe it is, then it has to be addressed before it gets completely out of hand.

Here is the article. One of many I might add. Some of the points mat be over the top but 10 yrs ago, if I told you that they will be making laws that allow strangers at airports to grope the genitals of anyone they choose to simply for wanting to fly, you would have said I was crazy. Right?

Top 10 things the TSA could do if its power is not sensibly limited Learn more: www.naturalnews.com...

According to the TSA's current explanations, there are no limits to its power. It can do whatever it wants. But America's founding fathers, not surprisingly, strongly disagreed. In fact, they penned two documents that specifically defined strict limits to government power. Those two documents are, of course, the U.S. Constitution and its Bill of Rights. Good point but as I stated earlier, there is no proof of this and they are just theories. I do not believe people should base their judgement on things based on theories but rather on actual facts.

Facts are that there are more incidents of terror acts than in the past and the facts are that our current system had many holes in it.

If there is a fox in your hen house you kill the fox. If there are many foxes about and you can't be sure if you can get them all you build a better hen house.

That's all they are trying to do. In regards to the groping thing i'm sure that happens but i'm also sure that out of the thousands of employees it's a small percentage.

Pat downs are just that ... pat downs...not easy to do without touching someone. I find it hard to believe that every tsa agent finds enjoyment in this act and that's a very generalized statement.

We will have to agree to disagree. Your arguments are based in fear and mine are based in a belief that Freedom trumps all other concerns.

It is true that with no security at the airports other than metal detectors, flying would still be one of the safest activities you engage in in your life. Fear is such an easy tool to use to control people that it is almost impossible to stop. Only when you fear them more, and you will soon, will you understand just how much you so willingly give up.

Fair enough...thanks for the lively debate

Terror attacks listed in the link you gave are examples of hype to continue the fear mongering.
The FBI has been fighting terrorism acts from outside and internal threats for years, and only started really pressing the panic button after 911.

If the list ranged in the thousands, I would say, go forward with the TSA and other security procedures, but it is overall a rather puny list of examples, and at the end of it all I will probably die choking on my scrambled eggs in a nursing home at 90 years of age before i am ever even in the same state as a terrorist attack in the US.

That being said I will tell you something else. I have been living in this Asian country for a while now, and since being here there has been a hostage shooting on a bus, a bombing on a train, and a bombing in a mall and a bombing on a bus, and REAL terrorist kidnappings of people with my skin color and ethnicity, yet I still am more concerned with getting hit by a motor scooter while I walk to the gym every day.

And as with other posters here, we will have to agree to disagree. You make good points as well.

To use your analogy tho, killing the fox in the hen house is correct. Chaining the chickens to the hen house because of the fox is cruelty to animals.

Thanks.

Not often these days we get to have good debate without it turning into a brawl.

I still think we should have TSA literary rub downs before entering any thread on ATS as to avoid debates turning into conflicts.
