Update on Iraq

It looks like Iraq has quite a bit of confidence about their new government judging from these numbers.

Well, some things like unemplyment are improving.
The confidence levels for the new government seem higher than the US at 68%

Not everything is good though, look at the security situation:

Not good news there at all.
The longer the war goes on, the more insurgents are created.

Keep in mind that this is one of the first times that anyone has polled the Iraqis and asked them what they thought or wanted concerning any issue. Just a little more than a year ago, they were told what to do by Saddam Heussein and his cronies, or killed for not doing what they were told, or thinking what they were supposed to think.

The fact that the Iraqi people are freely expressing their opinions now is an accomplishment in itself!
