Monday 27th June 2011 will see asteroid 2011MD pass just 7,500miles away from Earth.

Yes, that close.

(BTW, posted here because I can't find out how to post in say Fragile Earth. I have 11 previous posts, but still ATS makes it very unclear how to post in the right place. Any help appreciated)

Theres already a big post about it somewhere. From what I remember it will only be visible from southern hemisphere, its coming in from high and will swoop down underneath the earth and fly off back upwards again. Its apparently 20 meters across so not a very big one
