For the record, I'm not antiwar. I am against using military power to deal with what is 1st and foremost a Libyan affair, and secondly a European endeavor for oil.

Agreed - wholeheartedly. And it's so easy to see that the "we went in to save civilian lives" pretext is an absolute farce, particularly given how slow the world has been to respond to a much, much worse scenario (Syria), as opposed to the northern African nation, where Gaddafi actually seems to enjoy the support of his people!

Love Gaddafi or hate him, it's incredibly duplicitous and hypocritical of the US and NATO to have intervened in Libya and utterly ignored the plight in Sudan last year... or Syria this year, or any of the other numerous conflicts perpetrated by dictatorial leaders (Zimbabwe?).

The US role in Libya...

Is the equivalent of an "International Drive-By".

This is a joke, right? These creatures could care less about right, wrong, or the constitution. If congress didn't want our troops in Libya to begin with, they wouldn't be there. And Barry couldn't have done anything about it. Congress runs this country, not the president.

They're consensus building. And they're after something else. What that something else is, remains to be seen. But it isn't Obama.

There are a couple of things that are right about this. No president should simply go to war without going to congress first so there should be legal consequences - I think impeachment also. On the other hand the president actually found a real enemy of the US to attack. Totally screwed up situation.
What should have happened: President makes a case to congress, real and present danger to US interests, lives, and Libyan civilian lives. Congress declares war on Libya. The US military goes in through air power and the government and infrastructure of Libya ceases to exist. Let the Libyans clean up their own mess they allowed themselves to get into, hell, they have the oil to continue selling.
Now, if we can get a president who can continue to know who the enemy is, and what real evil is in this world, we will be whole lot safer. Of course, it would also be really good if we didn't have an arrogant fool who has no clue that what is written in the US constitution still applies - and to him!
My feeling is that after this administration is out of power the truth of what has been going on will all come out, and that the Obamas will be living in some foreign (Leftist) nation with no extradition treaty with the US.

This is going to go no where and we all know it, just like the attempt to take Britain to ICC won't go anywhere and we all know it.

No they hate Obama because he extended the tarp program after he took office, to include the automakers and to bail out wall street a 2nd time.

he is just as much to blame for the tarp program as bush was and 2 congresses are to blame.

And this lawsuit won't go anywhere except the waste bin. If the congress actually thought Obama violated the constitution or any federal law they would be impeaching him not filing a worthless lawsuit.

Its all smoke and mirrors to draw attention away from something else that is much bigger and hasn't gotten any attention yet from the sheep.
