Wachs first tangled with Judd last winter after he uprooted the Polk County jail's basketball hoops and donated them to local churches. Her group claimed that was an unconstitutional use of public property.
Since then Judd's agency has charged her with minor crimes, including illegally posing as a lawyer, possession of marijuana and simulating sex sounds from inside her home within earshot of a neighbor's 10-year-old son.

Who does that #? She is obviously a lunatic, and will get no sympathy from me.
Some people just like causing problems so they can then cry about corrupt police.
Oh, and simulating sex sounds within earshot of a 10 year old was probably classified as disturbing the peace, because if someone did that within ear shot of my kid, ass beatings would ensue.
LOL...yea you are right. I am ashamed to call Polk County home...lol. I cant wait to get out of this county.

As a FL dweller myself I have a confession to make. I read the title of the thread and said to myself, "I'll bet that's in Polk County."
..and I was right.

There is a great deal wrong with donating public property to a private organization. It is called misappropriation of funds when tax payer's money or assets are used for private gain. That is the LAW. This has little to do with separation of church and state, except for in the mind of the woman bringing this up.
As far as the morality of teaching evolution in publicly funded schools goes, well, evolution has been PROVEN according to the scientific method. Religion cannot be taught in SCIENCE class, because it CANNOT be validated by experimentation, documentation and repetition. Conversely, if we were to teach religion in school like you would like, perhaps children would read Deuteronomy 22:28 and 29 and get the idea that God says that it is perfectly acceptable to rape unmarried women.
I'm sorry, I digress. I didn't mean to go off topic, but I had to make that quick rebuttal to your comment about public education somehow being a contribution to a "religion"...
Grateful Dead chose a public institution to archive the band‘s memorabilia ―because the whole idea of it being public and free was important to them,‖ yet taxpayers are paying $615,000 to make the band‘s archives ―free‖ and ―public.‖

When I was younger I was always jealous my cousins got their own pornography magazines when they were around 8 or 9 years old... until one of them became a child molester before his 18th birthday.
