Los angeles! Strange lights

Did anyone see that bright blue/purple flash?
I was outside getting my cat like 30 minutes ago and it happened and i ran in the house. Ha. Is it just me or?

EQ lights maybe?

There are 2 weird "lights" in the sky, more like blurry brighter spots, to the east. I'm in south VT

You have failed to post in what direction you were looking when you saw the flash of blue light.

It appears to be possibly a transformer blowing up.

That would cause a blue flash to appear in the night sky.

There is a power plant near where you were.

Could you have possibly been looking in that area?

Was there a sound with it?

Hi! There hasn't been much in the way of news....but it's still there. Has anyone found out what these lights the OP mentioned are?

from the description it could be a blown transformer you caught a glimpse of. I couldn't find anything on google but seemed a reasonable explanation.

My mother said she "read" an article saying it was a meteor but when i tried looking for it I couldnt find it.
