"Plans to attack the US include the use of limousines packed with explosives, and speedboats in New York harbour. The files also outline plans to recruit non-Arabs, particularly South Africans, who can move more freely."
"To attack the Prudential building in Newark, New Jersey, they proposed removing everything from a black limo except the front seats and driving it into the basement car park. The files say limousines regularly enter the building but lorries would find it harder to get in."

Government officials have said that the next attack was to be on a scale of what went down on 9-11. Unless we aren't being told something, this doesn't seem to ring true. While these types of attacks would certainly kill some innocent civilians and possibly hurt the economy short- term, I don't think they would be quite as devastating to our country as 9-11 was. Is Al Qaeda losing it's touch, or are we missing something here?

I didn't read the atsnn, and didn't see the story here. I posted it less than half an hour after you did, on this thread, using a different source. Was that wrong? Why would you barge in like that and then edit your post to use the link that I found? I'm new, so if I'm wrong please tell me.

MacKiller I don't think its unbelievable. I think the ideas are creative and well- thought out. I just don't think that attacks of that sort would pack enough of a punch. Seems like something is being left out. The way items have been leaked over the past week regarding the arrest of the AQ PC "expert" maybe we'll hear more in the next few days. Just doesn't seem like the attack would make that much of a statement.
