Well , im not one firstly to ever try and evaluate my dreams... I do dream quite often and remember most of them vividly. I've dreamt of places i've never been to nor seen, but days/months etc get that deja-vu feeling. My first encounter with the fore-mentioned was when i was around 13yrs old, i dreamt of seeing my mate on a bicycle in the park then days later it happened. That was my first, and still remember to this day.
But aside from that, last night's dream got me a little rattled to say the least.

My dream started off by putting my wife and kids on a plane, then i remember i was in a city with water. It was on a hill, upon parking there, I noticed my wife walking but she was about 13/14/15 yo when i convinced her that i knew who she was (although wife and I have known each other since birth nearly) i noticed a plane overhead flying a little low, then when banking went dropped out of sky and straight into the water beside a bridge.

[At this point i did wake up about 3am - then went back to sleep clutching my wife in bed. This is the odd part for me though , i picked up the dream where i nearly left off... never before has this happened to me. ]

The second part to the dream is quickly driving down the hill to the bridge, i remember parking the car and jumped in an elevator to go below to ground. Trying to call anyone that i could...all i could think about was if my wife got the life jackets onto my 2 kids and if id see them trying to swim to shore, but they did not - no one. All i remember now is sobbing uncontrollably saying that my wife and kids were on that plane.

This is just a really odd for me.. and i cant explain

please help

Let me first say that I think me and you may have similar deja vu feelings. When I have dejavu, it feels like the rememberance of a dream. So much so that halfway through the dejavu experience, I feel like I know what will happen the second half.

In any case...

99.9% of my dreams don't come true, I'm sure that's true for you. Why would you think this one will? Probably just a nightmare created by random neuron firing in the sleep state...

Hopefully you will find your answers. It is easy for people to brush off dreams. They do what comes natural and just ignore dreams and then say dreams never come true. If you ignore or forget a dream how does someone know the dream never came true?

You dream for a purpose. Unravel the meaning. I do not know the answers but I do know nothing happens by chance. There are no coincidences. Everything happens for a purpose and reason. Let us know if you figure out what is meant.

Please look up Stewart Swerdlow. He can help you understand your dream or at least he has many people who stand behind him. He gives great info although I have never asked him to dissect any of my dreams yet.

Try changing your lifestyle for 48hrs, eat stuff you don't normally, don't watch TV or use the internet or your mobile phone (cell phone). Try to be as cut off from the world as you can and try to stay in doors.

You will find that your dream state will in fact change and you should dream about something else.

It is amazing that food and drinks can have an effect on your dream state, remember your body only deals in chemicals from the brain and when your body breaks down food and fluids thats what they become (chemicals).

It cant hurt to try and please let me know how you get on.

That sounds weird just like some of my dreams; from what i understand you only remember dreams when you wake up during your REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Cycle of Sleep.

Which is 2 -6 hours after you fall to sleep

I'm not certain but i just read that somewhere.

I have had recurring dreams before and as well like you had dreams were i woke up went back to sleep moments later and then was immersed in the dream again.

Its very odd dreams

I bet animals dream as well

I think animals have a consciousness just like humans. They just aren't as good at manipulating nature as us to their benefit.

They never developed the ability to do so i guess. Maybe thats what makes humans special

Sorry getting off topic

I've had some very weird dreams i think Weird ones might be normal!

Just guessing.

Maybe you wan't to spend more time with the Wife and Kids. Your subconsciousness may be saying that you need to appreciate them more.

Maybe you might be right. I do work only 4 days a week but 12+hrs each day and only a Sunday off, to spend time with them... something i've actually been trying to rectify in the past few months.

Not that i believe the dream will become true, i just wanted to find the mixed meanings within the context.

Cheers

A dream is a dream is a dream. Don’t try to read too much into them it will drive you crazy. I have had some of the most bizarre dreams you could think of.
If you dream of something happening and one day it begins to unfold then stop doing it.
What else can you do?
I once dreamt that I was driving down a country road with a buddy and a red ford pickup truck strayed into our land. My friend who was driving swerved to get away and we rolled down a cliff. That’s when the dream stopped.
Then one day as my buddy and I were driving down a country road I kind of got a weird feeling like dejavu, I told him to stop and pull over (used the excuse that I needed to get a beer out of the back, only I was drinking so don’t get the wrong idea) I took my time getting the beer and I got back in the truck and we continued.
No I didn’t see a red truck later on, so no part of my dream came true, but when I thought I knew what might happen I decided what the f*** couldn’t hurt to stop. Like I said a dream is a dream if you recognize something in real life that mimics it, than go with it or change it. It won’t hurt ya to give into it ya never know. If I dreamt about the lotto numbers I would play them.
