We all have nuclear crisis fueling our health care markets and longevity and eventually habitat and species.
All nuclear nations need a place to dispose its waste and the problem is widening to an extinction event.
We can neither store materials correctly nor contain the pollution of the ones we do moderate in the oceans.
These materials need disposed of and I have a solution.
Place them in the Icelandic volcano. We cannot afford to destroy the world after you grabbed your wealth. A long term plan needs emplaced.
I have chose Iceland because there of the population rate. It is the best option for the world. Due to its recent activity it is the best resource.
I think you have posted it in the wrong section, although new here but i am sure this area is for site orientated questions and not news.

I agree with the fact the world's nuclear powers MUST have real plans for waste storage and disposal in line with the time frames this stuff stays
dangerous for. I'd note that a volcano may not be the best idea though. Some of this may not be destroyed by it and we could find out in a very
painful way just how small a world we live in when we discover enriched plutonium from MOX rods popping out from a different volcano half way around
the world. I don't know what currents exist or don't exist in the magma feeding volcanoes...and I doubt the "experts" do either.
With a dangerous life span into thousands and tens of thousands of years, I'm really not sure any place on Earth would work. Perhaps we ought to look
at a method to literally launch this crap on a trajectory right into the sun. I know the obvious problems with a launch error...so look at a very
unpopulated area to launch from? I'd much rather deal with Plutonium scattered across square miles of desolate earth than mixing right into the water
tables or worse...internally into the Earth itself to come back up in the worst place and way.
I suggested the volcano storage for two reasons, because magma is naturally radioactive, and magma can particularize these items into micro
particulates.
The experts factual world exposure and sea exposure is a reality I suggest a limitation if it makes scene to an expert or not that is for them to
comprehend but this is a valid solution and point in the progression of disposal.
I do not believe that these industries have anyone best interest in mind just best pay options and marketization security. That includes allowing
biological processing and risk as part of a disposal method that spans the world.
Who knows maybe the expended fuels can heat the core and keep us from adding carbon dioxide to the outer atmosphere to heat the earth. I feel that
this is a subject that can have a impact if explored properly.
Iceland?
Have you seen how beautiful Iceland is?
Have you asked the natives of Iceland about destroying their country?
When this volcano blows, what will happen with this radioactive ash?
I will say nuke power was a failed experiment, but maybe we should just stop and use better and renewable resources.
This would affect the least people, France and England dump their waist strait into the channel as it is.
The region seems to be ok with the disposal policy given some plans its much more practical.
It will need to go somewhere! Instead of storing it near fresh water sheds and rivers and snow caps natural animal reserves I think a volcano is the
least inhabitable place.
I do not like the necessity either but you have seen the species die offs you know what is going to happen if we do not.
They have handled these material irresponsibly natural mineral tables sheltered from the most dangerous substances on the face of the earth have
appeared everywhere. Diet plans now accept these as natural substances in areas that do not have a natural history of the minerals in its mineralogy
tables.
This is much more practical then what is being practiced .
You look the world over and responsibly tell me what place is less populated and who are more or less responsible then the European people?
