Greetings from the UK

Hello, i have lurked on ATS long enough and finally decided to sign up. I enjoy observing in all aspects of my life but only here can i discuss freely with like minded people. Lately i have became very interested in the freedom of our beloved internet and believe we should try to protect a platform that allows the discussion of topics that aren't considered plausible to most.

Hopefully i can learn alot with dialogue as observation can only teach to a certain extent, i also hope i can meet some ATSers from the UK who can maybe inform me of British conspiracy theories (i know more problems in the USA than my own country due to lurking )

My interests include conspiracy theories, alternate ways of living and beyond. I am very open minded although i find it hard to put my own ideas into words but i am sure ATS is full of balanced opinions (however hard to find they are)

Personal Disclosure: Welcome! OL is sure a mod will be along soon to help out with an informative post etc. I also recommend utilizing the green chat voyuer function on the ATS tool bar to the bottom of most ATS webpages [aka the ribbon]! It will enable you to watch who and what is being posted in chat but unfortunately you wont be able to join or chat back until your post count reaches 200 posts or so.

Haha yeah it can cause some confusion and words on a screen can often take a whole different meaning depending on the reader which doesn't help.

You are a " Vagolly" after my heart! The Internet is being whisked away right under our noses. I am so glad this is a focus for you and that you have joined ATS. I feel the site owners are very much concerned with these issues as well.. Although I cannot speak for them, I will simply say it is something I have observed.

I see the same events happening to the internet that happened to the world. Big corporations and big money taking over. I am glad you are involved!

It worries me that they can already place restrictions on us (mainly due to pressure from other private companies)
Thanks for the link it appears to have some very interesting information on a cause i deem very important, i was also previously unaware that such few companies controlled a massive amount of one industry (just two companies, AT&T and Verizon, would control nearly 80 percent of the mobile market in America) statistics such as this make me afraid that the internet will suffer a similar fate, its probably much easier for a government to enforce laws upon one company than hundreds.

Oh Vagolly, have no shame...you have the mark of a true rebel. Things like this happen to rebels, Vagolly.

Back in the day we used all of the P2P available to begin a feasibility study including the fledgling (at that time) bittorrent. If I had not blown a bazillion hard drives I am sure I would on this list.

Real rebels have messy lives. Show me a rebel with a perfect life and I will question them to be a rebel.

P.S. I have an FBI file a foot thick and I am pretty much always in trouble for my causes.

As for an open mind I tend to think that is an important character trait these days when the world is changing faster than ever.

As for me I mostly stay in the prophecy/paranormal sections. I also do self-cultivation in Falun Dafa and try to become a better person.
