As the title suggests, i am looking for anyone that might use Acid music creation software.
I have just recently acquired it and am really enjoying it so far but there are a few things that i don't understand about it. It does have an internal help system but it doesn't appear to cover the things that i'd like to know.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!

Hey Gastrok. well firstly, having painted in a track, some times i'd like to change the key of a certain section of the track without changing the key of the whole project, or generally would like to know how to section off certain areas of any track to make certain changes to it without altering the whole track.
Hope i've explained that ok.

I think you will have to cut the track up with a sound editor first and then you can change the key in certain sections using Acid.

Mark the beginning of the section you want to change, then go to the "Insert" menu and select "tempo/key/time signature change..."

A dialogue will pop up and give you options to make the changes. You simply repeat this process later in the track to change back, or change again to something else.

Does that help?
