Most likely because they are drilling into the magma chamber.

Actually i don't know what that daft RSOE site is playing at there are no earthquakes registered in Campi Flegri in the past 7 days.

For your own peace of mind check their list against EMSC. You will need to go to around the 4th page (currently). You won't find any of those from RSOE listed.

For your further peace of mind use EMSC in future and not RSOE, or better still use one of the ones here

This one would probably suit you best.

Yellowstone had a swarm too (last year/2010 I believe) which has now quieted down. Hopefully everything will be ok.
