FANTASTIC!!! Mad props on this thread!! Lovecraft is awesome! Too bad he wasn't, really, appreciated until after his death. One of the creepiest stories of his, IMO, is The Festival. Love that story.

Really hoping that Del Toro gets to make his vision of At the Mountains of Madness. That would just be ridiculously amazing!

It is really weird that you mention The Festival. A freind and I are really in to Hawthorne and Young Goodman Brown. My friend was telling me that I should read The Festival in light of Hawthorne's famous story (YGB).

So it is cued up on the Kindle ready to go. I will be reading it tonight.
