Ronald Reagan talked about an alien threat from outside this world (in his speech to the United Nations) and then went on to say this as well: "And
yet I ask you, is not an alien force already among us?"
Is it ignorance that makes people so hostile and hypocrite?
Using a word like 'alien' in reference to our brothers that just happen to live on another planet, is not only hostile and toxic, it's alienating and
insulting.
Somehow no one seems to care, when it's not their own little navel. But when someone says something alienating and insulting about some Terrestrial
group of people, there's an ENORMOUS outrage.
How selfish, narrow-minded and egotistical is that? Nationalism is bad enough, do we have to be 'planetarialists', too?
Not to mention racist and speciecist.
Look, if 'racism' TRULY mattered to people, or if people were TRULY against racism, they would be against ALL racism and speciecism, not just against
a certain group. This kind of proves that people are racist EVERY SINGLE TIME when it's 'socially acceptable' to be so.
A TRUE anti-racist is not racist even if the whole planet cheers a certain racism (like racism against white, heterosexual men, for example - there's
no support groups for them).
