Texas May Bring TSA Ban Bill Back for Vote

Texas lawmakers may reconsider a bill to outlaw controversial airport pat-downs, the sponsor of legislation that was shelved recently said this week .... The measure would make it a misdemeanor for TSA agents would have been to pat down travelers who did not have probable cause for suspicion. The penalty would be a $4,000 fine and one year in jail.

If it is approved, it would be the first state law restricting TSA's security techniques.

Although it may be the first bill that would restrict TSA techniques for patting down passengers, I'm highly suspicious that we are being herded softly into accepting the TSA as part of our daily life in this policed Nation.

The TSA claims that if any law is passed restricting their powers to abuse passengers they will have to shut down all flights into and out of the area affected. Their reasoning is that they will not be able to guarantee the safety of the passengers, crew, and the plane itself. This is illogical once you consider one Delvonte Tisdale and the TSA's reaction to the events which ended his life. You see, Delvonte wanted to run away from where he was living and fly back home to where he grew up. He couldn't afford a plane ticket apparantly so he decided to just skip the terminal and hop on the plane by walking up to it and climbing into the wheel well. He walked across the tarmac and gained access to the plane without ever being questioned and without anyone paying any attention whatsoever to him.

What was the TSA's response? They're not responsible for the security of that section of the airport. That raises one obvious question; if Delvonte could have brought 4 bombs with him and clearly demonstrated that anyone can gain access to a commercial jetliner by simply not buying a ticket, why the $#@# are they so concerned about teaching young children that it's OK for a complete stranger to fondle and grope areas which would warrant execution in some places?!?

Clearly, submission of the population is the key and security is not a concern.

I hope Texas doesn't back down this time. The federal government has no right to tell a state government what it can and cant do. It's about time these states start standing up to the bully on the block. They threated to pretty much blockage Texas. If it were another country we would be at war. Enough is enough.

The executive branch of Texas state government will prevent any legislation of this type from being passed.

SO they don;t know yet if there gonna bring the bill back? Or I guess a different bill that says the same thing.
