If the Tea Baggers mess this next election up, I will turn my anger onto the movement with a snap of a finger.

We cannot afford to allow Obama to win the next election.

Even though I am not a Republican loyalist, I'm voting for the GOP nominee to defeat Obama.

Period.

will someone make this a new topic so we can get some reader response.

America's Tea Party 2011

On this Day think of what we as true Americans CAN do for OUR Country

I, as an american, have been silent too long. I have allowed the Government of this country to become an abomination in the eyes of our great founders. It is because of this silence we no longer have a Government of the people, by the people, for the people. It is time we take a stand together. Just as our Fore Fathers stood together against what they perceived as a tyrannical, unjust Government, it is our responsibility to do the same.

1) I ask that you print off 2 copies of the 2011 form W4 www.irs.gov...
2) Fill out 1 copy and claim 12 dependents on line D. This will not be a lie we taxpayers each support many more than that number in reality.
3) On July 5th when you return to work give this new W4 to your HR personnel or payroll department.

Special notes:

1) Take the additional money you receive on your check and place it in a seperate savings account. At such time as the Government understands that we the People will no longer be held hostage in our own country we will pay what we owe.
2) Remember we are not against taxes just an unfair system and unfair representation by our Government.
3) Anyone who tries to make this a "right" or a "left" political issue is an enemy of the people. We must all stand as one.
4) The second form W4 will be used at such time as the Government has made a concerted effort towards repair of our Government.
5) Money is all the greedy politicians understand so we must show them we do control the money.
6) If we could just see progress towards at least four items from the list below we could use the second form W4 and start the system back up again.

What I would like to see:

1) Put a stop to the revolving door where politicians (or their relatives) serve big business making laws then go to work for them after leaving office, or make money investing in them.
2) Put a stop to Military personnel (or their relatives) going to work with companies they had oversight of while serving.
3) A complete overhaul of the Tax system and plan for a simplified fair tax system. There are too many tax laws with loopholes for big business and the rich. A flat tax system would be nice or possibly a progressive tax system. If you have more you should pay more. Welfare is a problem. Corporate Welfare is an even bigger problem.
4) Stop the war money machine. Too many people are making money while our young men die.
5) Stop making unnecessary new laws and review, and uphold the laws already written.
6) The rights delegated by Our Constitution is for Our Citizens. Although we need to treat others as we would like to be treated we must put an end to illegals demanding welfare from us. We need to take care of our own sick and poor before we destroy America trying to take care of illegal immigrants and other nations. Our Country needs to support other countries to help them to learn how to deal with their own problems. We can no longer take on the burden of other Countries as Our problem.
7) Transparency in Government. It is OUR Government.
8) Our great nation producing goods and fair trade practices being implemented.

I could go on but if Our Government would just make an attempt to act like civilized people who care for their fellow men this action would not be necessary. I believe the time is right for this action. I am tired of the news media being used against us like some hypnotic machine only telling us what it's master manipulators want us to know. I am tired of worrying about "will I have a Job" while I read stories of how much money we promised to some foreign power. I am tired of MY ELECTED OFFICIALS pledging support to countries who openly despise America.

I ask you to please stand with me on this July 4th, 2011 and say enough is enough. All we are asking is what should be taking place in this great country we live in.

Please send this to as many friends as you can and let us all stand together

I would love to be able to sign my name to this but since I no longer trust the Government of the United States I must refrain from doing so. Only a movement will bring Our Great Country together again as it once was.

This would allow state taxes to continue where our money should be used.

This same strategy was successful in 2000, on the other end of the political spectrum.

There was a nominee who said everything that ultra lefties wanted to hear, who ended up stealing just enough votes to make a huge mess.

And, because some wanted to vote their conscious, they voted for anti corporate wunderkind Ralph Nader. (Green Party! Remember?)

Learn from those you despise, and don't sell the farm to get rid of the mice.

On second thought, don't let them steal your ideology! Vote strictly for the Tea Party Nominee! Teach those GOP'ers a thing or two about what is wrong with the world!

Tea Party 2012!

That's called Tax fraud.

Not a real strong move for someone who proposes to follow the letter of Constitutional law.

... basically, building up all their self-righteous-indignation and ire to the boiling point, so that they could suddenly put an end to government waste that did NOT involve war, drilling subsidies to profitable companies, or anything that would help our economy, at the moment a Non-White guy started doing the same things as a god-fearing Republican.

I just want them to realize that the ORIGINAL TEA PARTY, was protesting SUBSIDIES to a big powerful corporation that was killing competition -- so like, doing the OPPOSITE of what the Neo Tea Party is doing. You know; read some fricken' history boys!

Im a Independent voter, says so on my voter card.

I didnt vote for barry because, well, I didnt think he could do the job, but Barry got a lot of Indy votes.

This time around, the Repubs cant find anyone worth a damn. (Mr. Paul doesnt stand a chance at being the nominee), so where does that leave me?

Barry, i didnt vote for you, I gave you the opprotunity to make it right as the Prez and Im still not sold on you.

Republicans, you have absolutely no one with any brain in their head ( Aside from Paul) to put in front of the country.

Unfortunately, we will get barry for another 4 years because no one wants to run against Barry that is worth a damn, I wonder why that is? What are they afraid of?

BEFORE, you stop paying taxes.

Please turn off you water, stop using the public highways, and maybe, put a few prisoners in your basement as I'm tired of subsidizing them in YOUR corporate prison. Then, go out there and shoot a few people in Afghanistan -- not that I think that war makes any sense, but you've got OTHER PEOPLE DEFENDING YOUR BUTT that you don't want to pay for.

I know that 2/3rds of corporations aren't paying taxes. And a lot of Rich people pay a lower percent than I do. But hey, if you are going to act like those robber barons you defend -- I don't want you USING MY STUFF ANYMORE.

And when those uneducated and un-immunized kids come around to rob your house, and infect your family with Typhoid, don't be using MY POLICE and Emergency Rooms to try and deal with YOUR problems.

>> Isn't this the way society is supposed to unravel?

That is absolutely false as a statement. The whole idea that "anyone would be better" is by far the stupidest statement I have heard all day. And if you exercised even ONE little brain cell for half a second you would know that is true.

A bad surgeon who is doing heart surgery may be on a "bee line course to kill you," but it is ridiculous beyond belief to then go on and say "ANYONE would be better." Clearly, the drunk guy with a severe tremor in his hands who is prone to fainting at the sight of blood is not "better."

The only rational thing to do is to seek out someone who legitimately IS better. And thats not the corporate shill from the Republican branch of the Corporate party. Its someone who genuinely cares about doing whats right for America, and the American people, and that person we are going to have to LOOK for, because they arent going to get a lot of corporate paid for air time.

The tea party always was a brilliant scheme by the GOP to mobilize voters to vote Republican *cough* sorry I mean "Tea Party," for the 2010 elections.

You know, you make a good point.

When I look on the Election ticket, I see; Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, Independent, even, heck "Green Party" on occasion. So how do I "vote" Tea Party?

I suppose, I can always look for the non-foreign seeming guy, who doesn't want to "bail out" some lazy people that I am vaguely uneasy with anyway, and whose last name is "Lipton." I seriously, think, that if I changed my name to Tetley or Earl Grey, I could get half of these "low information voters" to back me for President!

You use examples of what taxes are SUPPOSED to be used for, then turn around and spin it. Instead of water, police, etc, why don't we turn off foreign aid, education for illegal aliens, healthcare for illegal aliens, stop tax breaks for companies who move jobs abroad? Maybe if we did that, cities wouldn't be laying off the police forces, and could actually fix the roads. In Colorado we passed Ref C and Ref D a few years ago. They were going to give tax breaks to the elderly, and fix the roads. Now, the state has canceled the tax breaks, and the roads are still falling apart. Yet, ESL classes are BOOMING!!!!

The "Obama Wars" are NOT OK with me.
And if you bothered to spend 56 Nanoseconds actually CHECKING, you would know that Code Pink is STILL PROTESTING but they aren't getting coverage; www.youtube.com...

Also, Fox news covered their protests in 2009, but stopped -- maybe because it put them in the uncomfortable position of either being FOR Obama, or FOR Code Pink, so they just shut up like they did about "Libya" with their "Bomb early and Bomb often" world peace policy whispering in their ears.

>> Can someone explain what the "Tea Baggers" are actually for? I know what they SAY sometimes, but they seem to be for Big Government, and against Big Government and the only consistency I can see, is if the Big Government is helping some Republican crooks or not. They are the most inconsistent, bunch of over-media-hyped, whiners in the history of this country. And I include the Pro-German Wall Street movement of Prescott Bush and Ford in the 1930's.

That video is from 2009. In case you haven't noticed, it's 2011. I guess the question is WHY isn't the MSM covering the 2 or 3 people from Code Pink protesting today, in 2011? Are they told not to by their master?

As for what the "Tea Party" wants, I guess that depends on the individual. I have never voted for a Republican candidate for President. However, I'm sick and tired of the spending in this country, on such things as foreign aid, illegal aliens, welfare, endless war, corporate breaks to companies that outsource, etc. I won't vote for any of the numb nuts they have running right now, with the exception of maybe...maybe...Herman Cain. I will not vote for Obama either.

The TEA party calls Obama - Bush III so what do they think the next GOP candidate that the GOP is pushing on people just like you is going to do? Think they are going to worry about you and what you want? You just said you are voting for them no matter what.

Why is it that those on the right waited until they LOST the white house to start complaining about spending?

Once again, Bush came in with a budget SURPLUS (which means that we were officially out of debt) and left with the largest DEFICIT in the history of this country- and NOW you want to complain about spending?

It's disengenuous at best, and extremely, dangerously, ignorant.

So, this guy, whom has a groundswell of support, by the way, comes in to try and clean up this historical mess, and you start in on him about what the LAST GUY (whom you all defended up until the very end) did?

It's transparent and it's pathetic.

You deserved to lose then, and you deserve to lose again.

Oh that that were true, my friend. The little guy doesn't drive this country any more than my 2 year old drives the family car. The way manufacturing and production have been shifted overseas and our so-called economy turned into an elaborate shell game where even the pea in the walnut shell is cognitive construct, the little guy, the working man is not even the engine that drives this country.

The only thing driving us is our own depraved gluttonous momentum as we careen towards a cliff with no breaks, no clutch and no hope.

Here's the catch my friends, even if you remove all the B.S. government regulations, even if the government deided free up "the little guy" to do his all to make his life by the sweat of his brow and the power of his mind; you would still have the big corporations unleashed, with their multi-billion dollar warchests ready to destroy any and all competition under a tidal wave of marketing, brain washing and cheap crap made in third world countries.

The "little guy" is bloody well fornicated no matter what and the Tea Party was never about fixing that.

I understand what everyone is saying, but there is a conundrum within the immediate future. If everyone wants to create a third party, like myself, the process would take a boatload of cash and time. Unfortunately, the next election is only around the corner, and only a hand full of states recognize certain third parties.

Independent Party is still not recognized in many states. Unless you people have a solution for this problem, the establishment of a third party, within the short-term, is next to impossible.

Go with the battles you can win in the short term, so that you can win the war in the long term.

Anything else is a pipe dream.

When this thing backfires and Obama wins in 2012, I will come back and say, "I told you so and now you got us stuck with Obama's mandates."

Vote for the GOP candidate in 2012, and then come up with a long-term solution.

"Turn off Foreign Aide?" OK, then what will we do with that HUGE .2% of the budget we save? How am I going to find a way for this government to spend the all those HUGE sums of money?
But seriously, that "foreign aide" is more of a bribe. There are some big political heavyweights who get "donations" and investments from all these "charity cases" in order to show them some love.

If you got rid of Foreign Aide -- you would be getting rid of our "Coalition of the Willing," and a lot of hard-up despots in the Middle East. If you want to kick Israel off the dole, then you are going to have AIPAC and Liberman on your butt.

So, other than the Republicans allies and their war buddies that you would hurt. The USA is one of the lowest "donors" per capita. I think if we stopped funding these terrorist nations like Saudi Arabia -- the world could live without our foreign aide and especially without the WTO kleptocrats.

>> Turn off healthcare for illegal aliens?
Fine, how about this; we have OPTIONS on our Tax form -- you pay for what you want, but you have to make due with those choices. I'd really like that.

I'd also like to have a choice to buy my spinach from the Grocery Store, from the "immunized illegal alien undocumented workers" batch. Do I want e-coli in my Salad? No. Do I want a tuberculosis outbreak? No. I mean, beyond the compassion of taking care of people -- it's going to cost you a LOT MORE MONEY not to give healthcare to the "illegals." Also, hospital care goes into our economy and no insurance company has to deal with it.

Other than just being MEAN, there is no financial benefit from most of your suggestions -- we would LOSE MONEY.

>> "stop tax breaks for companies who move jobs abroad" -- OK, now you've finally gotten something I can agree with and MIGHT have some economic impact.

You need to close down the "US Chamber of Commerce" however, because it's a major lobbying group and it is made up MOSTLY of companies that straddle countries and make profits on cheap labor. See, if you want to "stop" this vague notion of "tax breaks" for companies that move jobs -- you really have to get control of Multinational in General -- because there is no clear way to know WHAT you are and aren't paying for, where a job actually is, or what is what and who owns what and expenses and ...

... it is easier to regulate the direction of Spaghetti than to regulate a multinational corporation. First -- they can funnel money and make costs appear wherever they want. They can show a profit here, or wherever the tax haven is. They can bribe any person anywhere in the world -- and they run things HERE, right NOW.

We went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan for the BENEFIT of some multinational corporations. The CIA moved from protecting the interests of the US government to US corporations, But now, it protects the interests of multinational corporations so any benefit YOU might get, evil or otherwise, is beside the point.

You would have to make Multinational corporations illegal, and centralize business charters in States for specific purposes (the way this country started). How could we do that without crashing our economic system or without a revolution? I'm all for it -- but then again, How?

The "subsidizes" we give them, are not nearly the whole cost. You could add the entire defense budget as well. That's over 50% of discretionary spending and about a third of the economy. And then the cost of medicine is also intertwined in the stranglehold of multinational corporations.

You don't really WORK for the government to pay taxes -- you work for a Multinational, so that you can protect their interests without compensation, and some poor schmuck has to stand in Washington and be the fall guy for the enterprise.

>> I think my reforms, however "Socialist" they sound, are a lot more do-able than your idea that we can stop bribing nations to do our bidding or stop the Ultra-national Corporate stranglehold on banking, war and trade.

Which is why we need to outlaw the corporate form.

And the "how" to begin to gut them is going to be by treating them like humans. They have argued successfully in court for the most part, they are people. Gaining many of the rights of people. We need to wise up and begin to cripple them with the same argument they are exploiting. When a corporation commits "manslaughter" for instance, no fine. We dont fine people. We jail them, for years. And thats what we need to do. Seize all their assets, and shut them down, totally, for a period of years corresponding to the sentence a human would get when they are convicted as a crime.
