What has the TP done to make them racist?

When all of the racism mantra's were being spewed by them and attacking an African president not one person, faction told either their membership or the other factions to back off. Look at the draconian policies courtesy of Winsconsin, Michigan, Florida and you will see what I am referencing. Failure to stand up for every American regardless of skin colour and ethnicity. Only backing rich, white people.

I can't believe someone actually starred you for that bs.

Show me one "racist mantra" uttered by the TPM. Show it or be known as a liar and an antagonist.

Obama deserves to be attacked and torn down and thrown in the gutter. Being black has nothing to do with it.

The anniversary of the original Boston Tea Party was commemorated by Republican Congressman Ron Paul supporters who held a fund raising event for the 2008 presidential primaries advocating an end to fiat money and the Federal Reserve System, disengaging from foreign entanglements in Iraq and Afghanistan, and upholding States' rights.

Tea Party Movement

“As many frustrated Americans who have joined the Tea Party realize, we cannot stand against big government at home while supporting it abroad. We cannot talk about fiscal responsibility while spending trillions on occupying and bullying the rest of the world. We cannot talk about the budget deficit and spiraling domestic spending without looking at the costs of maintaining an American empire of more than 700 military bases in more than 120 foreign countries. We cannot pat ourselves on the back for cutting a few thousand dollars from a nature preserve or an inner-city swimming pool at home while turning a blind eye to a Pentagon budget that nearly equals those of the rest of the world combined.”

While the Tea Party will be out supporting Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin this weekend, you wonder how many of them will be in full support of more wars and paying more interest to a group of untouchable and unauditable private bankers otherwise known as the FED? This is precisely what Ron Paul is asking the American public to consider when looking at the Tea Party leaders and see if they really stand for what they believe in.

Ron Paul believes the Tea Party is not about “left” or “right” like a lot of political pundits make it out to be. It’s about the constitution, and limited government.

Ron Paul’s Shocking Message To The Tea Party

The only difference is that now, the establishment Republicans have wrapped themselves in this Tea Party costume, co-opting the language that once belonged to OUR movement. They saw the impact that OUR movement had. They saw how successful OUR movement was. So they 'borrowed' every phrase, every slogan, every technique and made it theirs. And now, members of OUR movement are calling for us to do the same thing we were asked to do before. We are asked to fight from within the belly of the beast.

The Ron Paul Movement vs. The Tea Party (Revisited)

As you were saying? No condemnation, no expulsions, no nothing proves without a shadow of doubt that this group is racist and will not ever take them seriously.

BTW, stop derailing this thread as it's about how they have hijacked the GOP the same way The Nazi SS did to The German Sturmabteilung political party right before they took it over whch allowed them to take over dictatorial control over the entire German Geopolitcal movement. The Tea Party is using and employing the same tactics that the Nazi SS did in Germany. The only difference is the date and location.

NONE of the GOP candidates are viable.

We're basically looking at another "lesser of two evils" scenario instead of a scenario that could bring meaningful change to this country.

Democrat or Republican, they are all one and the same.

The energy of the Tea Party is misdirected, purposely, by neocon shills like Palin who manipulate the movement. Their righteous anger is turned not agains the two-party system itself and all that entails, but is rather shunted back into the tired old left-verus-right non-debate. It's a pacification device, a kind of sedating process. Instead of turning the anger against SYSTEM elements (open borders -- tax increases -- bloated spending), it is turned into a personal issue, about "Obummer." Wrong, wrong, wrong.

WAKE UP! Demand SYSTEM CHANGE not mere PARTY CHANGE !!!!

Since Dr. Paul is deadset against the Federal Reserve means he won't be the TP poster child as he's deadset against the very entities that have now thrown all weight behind the TP.

I agree. But to label those party's,when they first started off as racist,is silly. I was at a few of them. I was there next to Dems, and Anarchists. Just everyday people who wanted real change. Now, are the Tea Party movement of today racist? You might have a case. After it was hijacked,You did seem to see alot more anti Obama slogans, that I will agree on. I havnt been to ANY tea Party Rally's,since Ron Pauls.

It is, they went from being against the banks to being dead queit on that topic and now back the banks more now then ever before.

Herman Cain is just the token and like Michael Steele when he grows a brain and begins to publiclly care about issues concerning minorties make no mistake he will be tossed out the same way Steele did.

That's absolutely correct. A political party made up of citizens who will never vote either Rep or Dem can't be corrupted. If there's no 3rd choice on the ballot, write your own name in . . . so long as you meet age requirements for the job.

The real Tea Party'ers were very anti Republican..

The question is Rockpuck, what fraction do the real tea parties make up out of the entire movement? Looking at the 2010 elections, they appear in the minority, verymuch the minority.

Before the election season set in the vast majority.. by the time election season came around ever Republican was touting themselves as "grass roots tea party candidates" leaving the vast majority being Republicans. At the beginning though, there was more hatred towards Republicans than Democrats, there just wasn't enough centralized leadership and republicans ate them for breakfast.

Well Immac, I must commend you for your list of left-wing rags. But where are the TPM mantras you spoke of?

BTW, stop derailing this thread

Sorry, bunky, but I'll jump in every time I see misinfo like yours being spread.

Huh? I thought it was the other way around? The thread title is Tea Party now officially hijacked by the GOP.

I don't believe any of this "GOP Hijacks the Tea Party Movement" or it's cousin "TPM Hijacks the GOP" bullcrap.

Don't you see that it is merely a scheme by the left to drive a wedge into the Movement? It's the same as their false accusations of racism. They say these lies and there you go, off to defend yourself and the Movement against them.

The TPM is the best thing to happen to American politics in decades. It was extremely successful in 2010 and will be a major influence in 2012. That terrifies the left, they can see their epitaph being written on their pine box caskets...

*sigh* ... never expect intelligence from anyone supporting the TPE

Sal Russo was the organizer, though specifically he used his entire consulting firm to fund, Russo Marsh & Rogers, the TPE

Sal Russo is a Republican Consultant, and founded Move America Forward in 2004, a movement to endorse Republicans in the 2004 elections. Same guy that started the Recall Gray Davis while managing Howard Kooligian's PR and consulting.

Russo was also helped manage George Pataki, Governor of New York's campaign as well as numerous other politicians all in the Republican Party.

He made his money from Republicans.
He worked for Republicans.
He then founded the Tea Party Express....
He worked on the campaigns (or someone from his firm did) of numerous Republicans in the 2008 election .. yet had no issues with policies of spending until after Obama won, later saying he founded the TPE because he was upset at run away spending.

Sal Russo is a successful consultant and strategist. He worked for the GOP because HE IS A CONSERVATIVE! There's nothing illegal about that. It may stick in the craw of liberals like yourself, but that's your problem, not mine. The TPE and TPM are conservative pac's. The fact that they are made up mainly of Republicans is to be expected; they are, after all, against liberal policies that are destroying this nation.

So your scree against him and the TPE is nothing more than liberal whining.
Frankly, I'm sick of it.

Tea Party Express? The people that plastered Palin face on a bus and claimed to be the only Patriotic Americans?

!@$!% them!

They were founded by lawyers with tons of money who were former managers of the GOP .. it was quite literally founded BY the GOP .. it was not hijacked, because they cannot hijack themselves. Then they got a thoughtless nitwit to be their face to the public and that's all the news cared about.

Needless to say, the true Tea Party died without so much as a whimper, Evangelicals now claim to be Tea Party even though they are nothing more than your typical Republican Fascist.

People don't discern between the various Tea Parties, there are hundreds of them.. they only listen to the one with the most money .. the Tea Party Express, founded by Republicans.

Everything is suddenly a conspiracy by the left huh? My, my how far have we fallen? It is you who cannot see past the blinders both TPTB, The Baggers and the Nazi GOP party have written for you.

Since yet again when asked to disprove this claim your entire group in incapable of providing any proof to the contrary and are ordered under threat of exposure and expulsion to not question a thing. Facts have been presented and yet you think it's leftist spun propaganda but it is fact and reality that you will never be able to handle.

BTW, y'all hang on every word Queen Sarah says hook, line and sinker and aren't even realizing that she's ripping each and everyone of you off via her "family vacation" which is one of the greatest scams perpitrated in recent memory so before you attack me or anyone else here you might want to write HRH Sarah a letter and tell her that you do not appreciate your hard earned money being used to finance her "vacation"!

Yeah right get real, try and walk into a Bagger rally with a pro left sign and watch how fast you either get jumped or escorted off the grounds. Walk with signs saying "Protect Minority Rights" or "Protect a Woman's Right to choose" and see what happens to you.
