do not fall for those Sparkly eyes, the little thing might end up taking your house

If we think about the Simpson show, it makes it easier for us to understand some hard to grasp scenarios. One episode got my attention, in relation to the Middle Easter situation. The Episode is called "Bart Carny".

The important part of the plot begin when Bart and Homer "meet up with carnies Cooder and his son, Spud. Cooder asks Homer to run his fixed game, but Homer fails to bribe Chief Wiggum (mainly because he wasn't deciphering Chief Wiggum's obvious hints at wanting a bribe), and Cooder's game is shut down. Feeling guilty, Homer invites Cooder and Spud to stay at the Simpson residence, much to Marge's dismay.

To express their gratitude, the Cooders give the Simpsons tickets on a glass-bottom boat ride. When the Simpsons return, they find that the locks have been changed, the windows are all boarded up and the Simpsons' name is crossed off the mailbox and replaced by "The Cooders". The Cooders have tricked them and taken their house. After Chief Wiggum ignores Homer's pleas for help, the family is forced to take up residence in Bart's treehouse.

Homer proposes to Cooder, that if he can throw a hula hoop onto the chimney, they get their house back. If he misses, he will sign the deed over to Cooder. Cooder agrees and steps onto the lawn to watch Homer's attempt. Homer stretches and warms up, as if about to throw, but instead he and his family suddenly rush into the house, leaving Cooder and Spud dumbfounded in the street. Homer has outwitted the Cooders and the Simpsons have their house back. However, Homer begins to feel sorry again, until Marge reminds him that the carnies ruined the ass groove in his couch which Homer immediately sets about remedying
". (Source)

The Cooders didn't have any house, they were carnies. Since they lost their own source of income, and the only place they thought as home, the Simpson family invited them in to stay for a while. The Cooders instead tricked the Simpson family and took their house, the Simpson family is stuck outside their own home, then forced to take shelter in Bart's tree house.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/f0097d2701b5.png[/atsimg]

This forces the Simpson family to trick the Cooders so they can get their house back (trick that doesn't involved burning the house down (Homer, Bart and Lisa's idea lol)). But here is the dilemma, if the Simpson family take their house back, then the Cooders will be homeless.

This is the situation in the Middle East. At least that's how I see it. The Zionists tricked Palestinians and took their home, now the Palestinians are forced to stay outside their own home, as they try to find ways to get it back. The Police (UN) is not helping, for what ever reason.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/5951ba04a35f.png[/atsimg]

The UN (Police) only proposed that the house should be divided in to two but did not take any steps in to actually doing it.

The point is, after what the Palestinians have been through, because of the Zionists, would they allow Zionists to stay in their home after they get it back?

It is evident that the Palestinians are determined to get their home back, they have come up with all types of solutions, from the most stupidest (like homer's solution to burn the house), to very clever solutions. One thing that they haven't done, is give up. Even when times are tough. We can see the determination, but the question remains, if and only if Palestinians get their home back, would they allow Zionists to live amongst them, after what the Zionists have put them through.?

When the Simpsons get their house back at the end of the episode, you can see the Cooders through the living room window, standing outside with their heads down in a sad state, because Cooders are once again homeless, will that be the state of Zionists? Even though Cooders stole Homer's home, when Homer sees them outside the house, he says "can't we let them stay for one or two days".. It shows Homer's innocence, his child like character... Marj is the responsible character... Lisa is the smart character... Bart is the deadly character.. These represent the different segments of the Palestinian population.

Given that the Palestinians didn't invite the current occupants of the land your
premise is ludicrous.

Read up on Deir Yassin, there were no "tricks" to take the land, unless you
call wholesale murder a "trick".

Deir Yassin massacre

I'd say it's all true, what you're saying, IF you switch Israel-Palestine in your theory.

That is all.

The Zionists tricked Palestinians and took their home

I read it all.

The premise is childish and has no merit.

Not really, Palestinians allowed Zionists to migrate to Palestine, they made a mistake, like Homer Simpson. The Zionists who had no home, but lived in different countries over the world.

They were tricked, Palestinians thought Zionists just wanted to take refuge in Palestine (hence refugees), from the bloodshed in Europe, but they didn't know the plan was to take over Palestine. They got tricked, don't you think?

It would appear that you are not versed on the events that led up to
the formation of the modern nation known as Israel.

I would suggest you start with a search for "Balfour Declaration".

I think you are getting too technical here, the broad reasoning behind the Palestinian-Israel conflict revolves around the Zionist migration to Palestine, and Palestinian acceptance of those refugees, after the migration began, it couldn't be stopped because there were too many Zionists inside Palestine who could fight Palestinians if they tried to stop the migration.

Do you disagree?

No, they were not tricked. "Tricked" implies that there were two parties, and one got conned into something.

The Palestinians were pretty much non-participants in the decisions made by the British and the World Zionist Organization. Since the Palestinians were not Europeans, and the British and the Zionist organization were, the Palestinians were essentially written off as nothing more than part of the local fauna, there for the enjoyment and exploitation by Europeans.

The Palestinians had a situation thrust on them by the British, a situation they did not want but were powerless to appeal (since, remember, according to the "rest of the world" i.e., the colonial powers, they just didn't count)They've been trying to get their feet under them and reach a solution ever since.

What you are trying to do does not make sense.

There was no "trick", there was no "deception".

You are trying to imply that the Palestinians willfully acted in
some way allowing Zionists to form Israel.

If a gang of Irgun terrorists show up and murder you and take
your house it can hardly be described as a "trick" or a
"deception".

Your implication that the Palestinians had some part in the
formation of Israel is utterly ridiculous.

No he is right.... Switch Palestinians and Jews (or should I over dramatize it like you did and call them ZIONISTS)
and your story makes sense... That's all!

No, Palestinians were tricked, deceived, by Zionists and their lies, that they were only moving to Palestine to take shelter from the bloodshed in Europe. Palestinians didn't know Zionists deceived them. Once you let refugees with intention to take your home, then it kinda becomes too late, because they are already settling amongst you, and if you try to stop more Zionists from coming in, you'll get attacked from within.

No, they didn't just come, as I said before, at first they were welcomed as refugees. Palestinians acted naively like Homer Simpson, they never thought Zionists had any ill intentions. Hence Homer Simpson allowed the Coopers in, because he believed they had no ill intention. If Zionists told Palestinians the truth, that they were moving in to take their home, do you think Palestinians would let them in? If the Coopers told the Simpsons that they were moving in to take their home, do you think the Simpsons would have let them in?

I can't believe I have to do semantics here, but for the sake of the discussion, deceit means "A dishonest act or statement" or "The action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth". (Source GOOGLE)

Palestinians did have some part in the formation, I think if you claim they had no part would be regarded as ridiculous. They are part of the equation no matter how you look at it. But that doesn't mean they let it happen, they were deceived, after they were deceived, it was too late. Just like the Simpson family, they didn't want their home to be taken by the Coopers, but they were deceived, they believed their lies, because they didn't think their Jewish cousins would lie to them.

That's why I provided a direct link to the Episode. That might help explain this a little better.

You have made some fundementally incorrect assumptions that I wish to correct.

No the Palestinians were not tricked. The Palestinians and the Arabs outright rejected the Partition plan created by the U.N that would see Palestine divided into an Arab state and a Jewish state (although the Zionists used the term homeland). Israel declared independence but left out specific borders in this decleration in order to have the possibility to expand past the U.N partition. Yes Zionists were imigrating into Palestine before the Partition plan in the early 1900's. Yes they were preparing the region for the creation of a Jewish state, however the WJC was outright and open with this.

What ensued after the declaration of Israeli independence and the exparation of the British mandate was a war that is today propagandised by Israel. Jordon, Egypt and Iraq invaded Palestine and the IDF which merged from (Haganah, Igrun, Stern Gang) fought them off. The IDF had superior numbers even though there were more Arab states involved. In the early stages the IDF had 35.000 troops where the Arabs combined sent 25,000. By the end they outnumbered the Arabs 2 : 1. The Arabs lost, the armistice agreement was set roughly along the Partition plan and neither sides who were fighting expansionist wars (Jordon wanted to annex the West Bank and had an agreement with Israel) gained much territorialy. However Israel recieved independence, lost 1% of its population and gained a huge propoganda victory.

This war of independence shows that the Palestinians and the Arabs weren't tricked, they outright rejected the Partition plan and the Palestinians were forced to abide by it (many were terrorised by Israel gangs.terror orginisations - Igrun, Stern Gang). The founding of Israel was bloody but not a deception.

I can't believe I have to do semantics here, but for the sake of the discussion, deceit means "A dishonest act or statement" or "The action or practice of deceiving someone by concealing or misrepresenting the truth". (Source GOOGLE)

Once again the WJC was quite open with it's Zionist intentions and yes Palestinians who did not govern their own state at the time (never have) accepted refugees. They were quite powerless, although the idea of being incoperated in a Jewish state had been put foward to them and rejected even though Jews believed they would accept due to the economic benefits. In fact Ben Gourin a realist, often repeated that the Arabs would have to be defeated to the point of no hope before both nations can come to a mutual agreement on Jewish statehood. They didn't want the Jews to become the majority and they didn't want to be governed by the Jews. Once again it was outright rejected, they were not tricked.

Palestinians did have some part in the formation, I think if you claim they had no part would be regarded as ridiculous. They are part of the equation no matter how you look at it. But that doesn't mean they let it happen, they were deceived, after they were deceived, it was too late. I don't see how they played a part in the creation of Israel when they didn't vote for resoultion 181. The U.S and U.S.S.R both agreed to it with Britain abstaining. It was passed through the security council with the support of both the major powers. They weren't decieved, the plan was out in the open.

This comparison between the Simpsons and The PA-Israel conflict is utterly rediculous. I have been thinking of somthing constructive to say and all I can think of is better luck next time. I suggest you read into the full history from the first congress of the WJC till now before you try to think of metaphors for it.
