"The AOC president, John Coates, said the Canadian based lobbyist, Mahmoud El-Farnawani, worked on the Sydney bid for two years earning a salary. But
he did not receive a special payment for securing the last minute votes of Uganda and Kenya."
Sydney beat Beijing by two votes.
"El-Farnawani was filmed by an undercover crew posing as businessmen seeking support for the London 2012 Olympic bid."
