Fake Tupac Story Posted to PBS Frontpage After it was Hacked

www.theepochtimes.com

The PBS website was attacked by hackers on Monday, who posted a fake story that slain rapper Tupac Shakur was “alive and well,” media reports said.

A cached version of the website was uploaded before it was taken down by PBS. It showed a picture of Tupac wearing a backwards baseball cap, smiling, and said he is “still alive in New Zealand.”

“The small town - unnamed due to security risks - allegedly housed Tupac and Biggie Smalls (another rapper) for several years,” said the fake report.

That's hilarious, I bet people will use this news story as evidence that Tupac is still alive.

"Dude, didn't you see that news story? It said that Tupac was alive and living in New Zealand, but the government took it down because they don't want us to know!"

Man, I wish he was still alive.

Tupac is dead.

He had a deep message but he wasn't killed over that, he was killed over a petty street beef.

I wished they posted up something a bit more important than Tupac...
Maybe 911 was an inside job and no planes hit the tower or Obama's real birthplace (but I guess they can't really do that since no one cares about that anymore)

Then I guess Tupac being extorted and threatened by the JDL (Jewish Defense League) prior to his death didn't have anything to do with his death then...

There are so many theories that explain why Tupac was killed. The ones I can remember are Suge Knight killed him because he owed Tupac money, gang members killed him because Tupac and some goons beat up a Crip in a Vegas casino lobby that night, and the government had him killed because they didn't like the messages he had in his music and felt threatened by him.

Then of course there's the theory that he's still alive and faked his death, probably to escape all of the stress from the media, police, etc, and to avoid his death. His stage name that he took up, Makaveli, can spell 'I am alive', and Machiavelli was some dude who wrote a book and inside the book he said the best way to fool your enemies is to fake your own death. Many of his songs talk about resurrection and coming back from the dead, for example 'Ghost'.

Do I think he's alive? I really don't know, lots of things suggest that he faked his death and is still kicking it, and I love the idea that he's still alive and some punk didn't kill him at the young age of 25, but I also don't think he would chicken out and just bail on all of his fans and the people that looked up to him like that.

Thanks for the info but I already know much of what you said buddy, I'm a huge 2pac fan myself.
What I was referring to is what the FBI report on Tupacs death says. JDL supposedly threatened and extorted Biggie, Eazy-E and 2pac to name a few- all of them being dead.

Actually, there is a huge conspiracy concerning Tupac and if he was killed by the CIA (similar to Martin Luther king, although that conspiracy involves the FBI)

There were previous attempts on his life, and one was discovered to be undercover CIA agents.

The beef between him and Notorious BIG was being prompted by the media more than an actual feud.

You know someone was going to say it......this is a conspiracy site after all

Seeing as your obviously a big Pac fan like myself due to your name, have you ever heard any of Kasinova Tha Don's songs..If not seriously go check em out because I swear it's Tupac. Theres the voice of Kasinova but then theres Pac's voice on some songs. Same flow and substance. Talks about the illuminati, even says Makaveli on some tracks, some start or end with him saying, "alter ego," Huessin Fatal did a couple songs with him. Why would a member of the Outlawz do a track with an unsigned, low profile bitter. Listen to the songs and what he talks about. I've researched alot of stuff about his death and I have to say there is so much convincing things, like the witness talking about him being hauled away on a helicopter. One things for sure, he was hands down the best rapper/ hip hop artist there ever was and will ever be.

And to the poster above me, Star for the link. Eazy E was a big favourite of mine too. It is said that he was killed by Jerry Hellers doctor. He got sick one night when at a club in New York called the Tunnel. It was a right cold night. The day after he had finally fired Heller(and was about to make start a new album re-uniting with dre, ice cube, the rest of N.W.A and was going to bring Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dog, Guns and roses and a few others I can't remember and make a bomb album) he went to Heller's doctor for a simple flu shot. 3 months from then we was dead with full blown aids. Not his wife or any of his kids have aids so it's very suspicious. Bone Thugs made a song, "conspiracy," that talked about it. I haven't really looked into Biggie's death I always thought of it to be what it was.

Let me guess.

If we agree to this theory you can paint us as anti-Semitic.

Saying/confirming that, does not make you or anyone else an anti-Semite in my book.

How would it be anti-semitic, to recognize that the FBI has stated that the JDL (Which the FBI describes as "a right-wing terrorist group") had threatened/extorted Tupac prior to his death and was even probably involved in his murder?

Nowdays, if you sentence contains the word "Jew" or "Jewish" and fails to praise the Jewish community, you're called an anti-semite.

Is it me or do certain people believe that Jews somehow should be viewed as super-human entities and not be held at the same standards as the rest of humanity?

Wow dude I checked out some Kasinova Tha Don songs and it sounds al ot like Tupac. Tupac called himself the "don" in a few of his songs too, and the voice is almost identical but not exact. If I had to guess I would say it's some dude who is ripping off his style, but the more of his songs I listen to the more of Tupac's style I recognize.

Yea, that's what I was thinking also. The more songs I listened to the more I thought it was him. He did talk about a money making scheme when he left. Also if he was ripping off Pac's style why would Huessin Fatal do a couple songs with him, you know? Fatal has been quoted as saying he hates people trying to copy Pac's style and voice. So why do a song with this guy if it's not Pac. The song, Mama cita, talks about him living the life of Peurto Rico. I'm not saying because this song it's a fact he's alive. But it makes you wonder because he was thought to be in Cuba with his sister. Theres also the one, Come with me, it's like a Hail Mary part 2..

This one, Shear Tears, to me is Tupac hands down. NO one else could do this
