I've never been hesitant to call out racism when there's racism. This has bugged a lot of peopel around here, especially the crowd that's convinced it's not racism unless there are hoods and cross burnings involved.

This is not racism. It's not even slightly so. It's Naomi Campbell trying to reinflate sagging publicity figures.

In all honesty I could not care less if I tried about anything Naomi Campbell has to say about anything, even if she's right. As someone who knows several people employed at Cadbury's Keynsham plant near Bristol, whose jobs are being outsourced to Eastern Europe, I'll never buy another of their products again. In fact, I hope they go out of business.

Yknow what, i think our government should have saved Cadbury from the clutchs of Kraft, theyre quick enough to bail out the banks, but there you go....
Also. the milky bar kid is white, is that racist? This is a blinkin nonsense, Naomi wants publicity methinks.

I agree. The real problem she has here is that she didn't get paid. Everything else is incidental.

It was probably in bad taste. It should be pulled. Regardless of her motivation.

One of my siblings is with a black guy and I know that the kids get racial namecalling at school sometimes with one or two kids calling them "choco drops",etc. so I can understand why some black people may find it in poor taste, even if there appears to be no racist intent here. It's an easy thing for most people to overlook, but these ad execs are paid a lot of dosh to understand the public, the demographic and so on. I didn't know an advertiser could use a famous person's name without their consent. I wonder if they'd asked her whether she'd still find it racist or just want a fee of £500 000 or something.

To the poster who said the government ought to have bought Cadbury out from under Kraft, that may well have been considered but when you look at how many of our firms get bought up or sold to foreign owners nowadays, where would it end? We , or most of us, can live without Dairy Milk, but not without mortgages, loans , etc. so unfortunately the banksters had to take priority, I suppose.

I'm going to buy one, or maybe a hundred.

Sick to death of people that have so much and are always dropping these crybaby cards.

They say she's a "supermodel". I guess thats a professional clotheshorse who can fly and fight evil genius criminals or something. Or maybe "super" refers to her ego.

Supermodel or not, this self opinionated, overpaid, spoilt little brat has no influence over my life. And, for the vast majority of us, she is unimportant and insginificant.

I could not care less what she says or thinks, it has no effect on what will happen to me tomorrow or the next day.

A person is only as famous as we let them be.

someone should ask her about the

"cracker" remarks that that idiot from the polling booth was yappin' about in a utube vid, that AG holder never prosecuted.

she would have noooooooo clue!

do we white people equate "cracker" with a product?

do i, as a white male, give a rats? no. do anyone i know, care? not that i know.

that was real racism, but do we boycott everything with "cracker" on the label?

lighten up naomi, you are getting old.

too bad you can't sue someone for being an idiot.

I think Naomi is living up to her reputation on this one... becoming outraged at something that most of us wouldn't even notice.

i think she can see the dollar signs, shes rubbing her hands together at the possibility of a lawsuit for 'damaging her image' and using her name without consent, she is proberbly trying to get a response out of cadbury in the hope they confirm it was her they were refering to, so the first step is kick up a fuss, then get a response, then get some money out of it.

if i were cadbury i'd just say it was a different noami.
