I respect such laws, Child Molesters/Rapists, Murderers, Rapists etc deserve the death penalty. I support such laws, and I also support 'an eye for an eye' justice system which Iran has implemented. I was happy seeing justice prevail when the man who threw acid on a woman's face (blinding her), got the same punishment.

This law in my opinion should be implemented in all societies, replacing soft imrosentment punishments. These soft punishments (at the expense of TAX payer) has caused rape and child abuse to increase. Just recently a report published in UK showed that Child Sex Abuse has increased by 8%.

"At least 64 children are sexually abused every day in England and Wales, figures obtained by the NSPCC suggest.

More than 23,000 offences - including rape, incest and gross indecency - were recorded by police in 2009-10, an 8% increase on 2008-9, the charity said."

I believe the soft punishments implemented in certain societies is not stopping rape and child sex abuse, instead putting strains on TAX payers, because they have to feed the prisoners, cloth the prisoners, pay for the guards, pay for their medical treatment, pay for the roof over their heads etc..

Instead a physical punishment should be applied, either the death penalty, or an 'eye for an eye'.

Violent people who go around beating their wives, and their kids, they should be punished physically, if they punch someone, the law should give the victim true justice and inflict the same pain and wound on the attacker.

That way we don't have to work our asses off to pay for these violent thugs, rapists, murderers, drug addicts... While they sit back in comfortable prisons, warm, cozy, roof over their heads, fed well and medically taken care of.

I believe certain justice systems are unjust to the collective society, it is just sad to see tax payer money spent on criminals and thugs, instead of helping harding working, law abiding citizens.

There are many disagreements when it comes to Iran, but that doesn't mean there is absolutely nothing we can learn from them.

Well there you go, who says Sharia law is all bad?

Id take that kinda justice anyday, very hard to reoffend and ruin more innocent childrens lives when your headless

Fantastic news!!! Too bad us western societies feel the need for more humane conditions for the people that prey on our children. In my opinion this wasn't enough punishment. Kill them all!

Two ways to deal with offense: slow painful death through daily torture or a quick one through hanging. Either way: Off with their heads!

Good for the Iranians. For once I agree with them.

Hang them all.

I think the main problem you people are missing is that in Iran people such as political opponents of the state are often accused of crimes such as this to A: make the opposition look crazy B: to deter others and C: to get rid of them.

I am all for the death penalty for crimes that can be 100% proven and I think that life sentences should result in execution instead as its pointless imprisoning someone for life (unless they are used as a cheap source of labour or something that can benefit society that they have wronged.

The main problem with this thought is do you trust the powers that be to be judge jury and executioner? I sure as hell don't! If its a case where there is no doubt then fair enough, however evidence can be doctored to make it seem this way so its a difficult subject. Death is too good for people such as rapists and child rapists, but torturing them makes us no better or in fact it makes us just as bad. I would have no problem killing these people but I could never severely torture a person and I would not want to be in the company of anyone who wouldnt have a problem doing so.

I just think its sad that as a society we are unable to instill compassion for each other in everyone. Until we can though I say let them hang, but only if we are certain. When crimes are this apauling people dont care if the accused did it they just bay for blood right away. I bet most people looking at this wouldnt even question if there was a chance that any of tese people were falsely accused because we are all too easily stirred up into wanteing someone to pay.

Its simple, If someone rapes a child, then they themselves should be raped. If they rape and kill, same should be done to them in that order, vice versa. Say they shoot someone, they should be shot the same number of times in the same areas they shot the victim. Its called karma, and we can implement it if we wanted to. Anyone agree?

Now this is something I'd like to see done to the vatican rapists.

Well it should be done in a way that it wouldn't be liked.

I WISH I paid taxes for child molesters feet to dangle. I was abused as a child, and would love to see the people who abused me dead. It's just reality, and I'm 100% sure I'm not alone. They ruined somebody else's life, that's a good enough reason for them to go.

ugh, i dont even have kids but i do have younger siblings so i have an idea of where your coming from. But yeah the best justice is making them wish death, but death will elude them.

How emotive this thread is.... until its YOU being hung by an angry mob, with no jurisdiction and your innocent. Great concept but allow for flaws...
