Definitely odd and huge but it looks like it could be a balloon similar to the balloon boy balloon of a highly reflective material. It is most unusual in that case that it vanishes near the end. It remains stationary like so many of these sighting do so hard to figure out. If it suddenly took off that would be something different but it doesn't so it might be a number of earthly phenomena or identifiable aerial object. Not that I am an expert but definitely worth a star and flag.

How strange! I was just watching Ancient Aliens on the history channel and they were talking about Nazi weapons using UFO technology against airships. Allied pilots reported fire/light balls shooting up from the ground. They called them foo fighters.

www.history.com... liens/videos/ancient-aliens-foo-fighters#ancient-aliens-foo-fighters

These balls sometimes caused the airplanes to malfunction or have mechanical problems.

Note:
The French word for "fire" is "feu" hence "feu"/foo fighters

it could be anything, it could be something caught up in the wind like a plastic bag, moving slowly either towards or away from the guy filming making it appear to be floating in one area of the sky. but i do not know what it is i am just pointing out it could be anything.

i am not saying it was something like this, because i do not know for certain, but this did cross my mind, would the beams be visible considering it was still light and the quailty of the video is poor? would the light on the grey clouds appear how it does in the o.p. video?

think it is to big for something like that large like a weather ballon, I think at the end the cloud envelopes it.

This is like hitting the lottery or better. Consider the odds. Cameraman "Think I'll start filming right here for no good reason". " Oh ! there goes a ball of light in my field of view". for no good reason.
