Of all the unsavory things surrounding the AT&T brand, it surprises me that they would release a commercial that resembles the vine infestation from the movie "The Ruins". Has anyone else had this same thought? REALLY creepy!

this will give your readers a point of reference to what you are talking about

by the way wouldn't general chit chat have been a better forum for this
I don't see how this fits the forum it is in.

I haven't seen the movie. Watched the clip.

In my opinion someone working for ATT probably watched that movie and thought wouldn't it be great if we made a commercial like that?

I don't see anything out of the ordinary in the commercial though...

Sorry. Still really new at this. Is there a way to move the post to the appropriate forum?

If you had ever lived in an area where AT&T had the monopoly, especially on broadband internet, you would see why INFESTATION is such a good word for it.

Worst provider EVER.

Mods can do it.
I guess you could contact them or they just might move it.
It's probably no big deal

Thanks for the info. Like I said, still pretty new at this. Just had to put this thought out there. Don't usually watch commercials, but this one caught my eye and really creeped me out.

Heh, my first thought was that the commercial would have the flowers ringing, like in the movie.

Nothing strange about this to me though.

Very creepy, since when I switched after the bandwidth thing, I had a hard time finding another carrier in my area. I hated that I didn't have many options.
