Because ive seen them come out of thin air! Turn from tiny balls of light into massive planes, hover in one spot, go backwards, sideways, etc, and also disappear! I presume this is one in the daylight!

I think I drank some of that once too, powerful stuff!

to the OP:

planes facing you or moving away from you will often look to be stationary blobs of light-colored/shiny objects, the same way that you can't judge how fast a car is moving if it's headed in your direction and you're looking at its headlights. i hope you get the idea.

try it, go outside .. look for something that looks like a blob of light or orb or anything that's not a bird. look at it closely and monitor its movements if any; if after 15 minutes it hasn't turned out to be a plane then you have a genuine UFO. congratulations.

Yes, here's an example of a UFO that "hovers", so it can't be a plane, right? This is a common mistake, not to mention it doesn't look much like a plane (at least not for a while after it "pops into existence"):

CAUTION: to all UFO videographers

..when you're out and about with your camcorder looking to film geniune UFO footage, look twice - coz it's easy to make a mistake man!

According to the UFO organization MUFON, nearly all (over 95%) of UFOs are simply manmade objects (like planes) or natural phenomena. That would include ultralights, and other planes.

Not only do untrained observers make mistakes, but even trained people, like pilots, make mistakes in identifying manmade objects and natural phenomena as UFOs.
