I am an agnostic on Nibiru, a Mulder if you will: I WANT TO BELIEVE!!!

I think it would definitly change the world if there was a Nibiru type planet that would effect Earth, Destroy it or not, its all about stopping the monotony!

But what many cannot see yet is..... Visualize a spherical transport vessel made of no material known within this location. It may pass right thru EA and take certain energies during pass, leaving others intact good energies or bad. Without making the planet explode. Like a ghost type vessel to those who see and try to understand it but not ghost beacuse very alive.

Any theory for 2012 is radical, but the whole point of the 2012 doomsday is the Mayans, and who did the Mayans worship? Annunaki. Where do Annunaki live? Nibiru or... something like that.

2012 in itself is a radical theory, but one that is fun to think and theorize about. Hence why I put this in the 2012 forum and not in one that is taken seriously by anyone. I simply found an awesome article displaying how truly remarkable our Universe is and wanted to share it.

First, the use of the word theory here is in the sense of wild-eyed guess with no evidence or logical reasoning associated with it. The Mayans did not worship or even know about the Annunaki. You've got the wrong hemisphere and the wrong millennium. The claims of the Annunaki living on Nibiru is Sitchin's hoax.

The article is certainly interesting and what is fabulous about it is the means by which these objects were detected.

I wanted to go out in my starship and do a sensor sweep.....but, had to have a clue to how to tune them, depending on what I am searching for.

Alternately, using the tools available whilst stuck here on Earth (to include any "hi-tech" space-based platforms) is quite a bigger challenge, at this point in time, this century, and stage of technological development......

But it is a theory, there is evidence, whether that evidence be circumstantial or made up, evidence none the less.

In you your eyes life can't be supported but I'm very sure that their is life out in the universe that is totally different from ours. Who is to say what living beings are out there and what keeps them alive. Maybe they could live on hydrogen or anything. We are have no clue.

That's quite true in a way. Extremophiles on the Earth use all sorts of unusual elements and chemicals in their biological systems. I recall something about an organism discovered in a mine that was using arsenic.

The problem with these worlds is that they are too far away from us to determine much about them.We certainly cannot tell what their composition is. All that was observed was that a mass passed between us and a distant star.

Annunanki = from Sumerian legend (Enuma Elish), Middle Eastern probably from around 1,100 BC.

Nibiru = from Babylonian legend (a re-interpretation of Earlier Sumerian legends). Assumed to be from 630 BC to 540 BC.

Mayans = South Americans, their society is generally thought to have started around 500 BC, bloomed about 300 AD and collapsed sometime around 900 AD.

Nibiru and the Annunanki barely relate.

The Mayans definitely knew nothing of Annunanki.

Here's a first for me, disagreeing with Phage!!

Sitchin wasn't the only person working on the Sumerian Tablets with the British Museum back in the 70's. As I've said on this site many times, my old mentor was also translating the Tablets in the Museum's "too hard basket" at the same time. She argued with Sitchin a lot about his "additions".. like suspening gold in the Niburian atmosphere. But, they both agreed on Nibiru being a planet with an elongated 3,600 year orbit around our Sun, based on the information they were reading.

In which case Sitchin did not Invent it.

Also, I'm not saying I BELIEVE all the new agey hype about Nibiru. Instead, I take a wait and see approach.

Celestial mechanics makes any unknown planet with a 3600 year orbit impossible unless it is way, way smaller than a planet - say a comet. The problem is that there is almost nothing in the Sumerian tablets about astronomy. The main reason it is believed that the Sumerians were interested in astronomy is that the Babylonian astronomical records use Sumerian names.

I love people who state emphatically something they do not know about, after all! I like you, Phage, but have to disagree here.

No, Sitchin didn't "invent" Nibiru, it happens to be history, after all, Ancient History. Why do so many just disregard ancient history as fiction? The Babylonians and Sumerians were not writing fiction, what they were writing was their history, what they saw with their own eyes, heard with their own ears. They wrote of their Creators, those who made them. Sitchin was one of many who has, and still is, de-cyphering the cuneiform script writings lft to us by this ancient, high technological civilization. Nibiru, as I understand it, is a planet in orbit around a Dark Star, and is most likely a Spaceship, hollowed out and fitted with living quarters, control station, weapons, and so on. Let's hope if it does come that Enil and Enki, along with Marduk are all dead and gone, and someone with a little sense is in control.
