I don't get it.
DNA does NOT lie, but because it removes the basis of religion, we don't want to accept it?
It's not my fault I don't watch television or read the paper, but here I am exposing DNA findings that are actually years old.

Shouldn't I be in one of the top rated sections like on the first page?
If not it sounds more like people not wanting to accept the truth.
Watch Pye...
www.youtube.com...

He has another good one on the star child that gives more education on DNA and how this poor was related to earth.

Well it sounds more like people are rigged.

I think I figured it out, it can't be offical unless there is scientific proof ( which there is ) supported by numerous other things ( which there is ) that answers all the questions we ever had ( which it also does ) but has to be accepted, believed and highly publicized by masses, which it isn't.

So official seems to be more what people want to accept.

I don't get it.

OOH... pick me!
Probably because you didn't even bother to develop a reasonable understanding of the material presented in your own reference. Nowhere in that video did he say 'This disproves God', or even elude to it. The majority of his hypothesis suggested that evolution was nearly impossible. Furthermore, he suggests that an outside entity most likely created the human race.

All and ANY evidence that goes too far contrary to the traditional view of human history is suppressed.

Could you imagine the impact on Christian and Jewish culture? How it would effect each Believer? How it would effect the foundations of western civilisation?

It would seem the reason why information like this is suppressed is to maintain the status quo of populations being well controlled and well Limited by their very Belief-Systems.

How about instead of a half hearted opening post, you actually give us some substance, your thread is in skunkworks because there is no substance to it, just a few paragraphs of you moaning?

Must try harder

What would be the evidence, that the DNA strain that (allegedly) sets us apart from animals is artificial and therefore evidence of an higher intelligence creating us, or alien and therefore evidence of crossbreeding with an, err, alien?

How can you prove that we were created by a god? Maybe all religious things should be posted in skunkwerks? Faith is belief without proof. So, by that rationale, anything someone wants to propose as being true, can be presented without proof, as long as you have faith that it is true. Go ahead, disprove me.

Ummm because we had to be created by Something, and God sounds better than elves? How do you suppose we were created? Sure, many people may have the wrong idea about religion, nut don't let their ignorance cause you to throw the entire subject. è

I would expect to be on the front page of ATS if I posted a video with no proof, or evidence, or even an opinion of my own on the topic also!!!

I can't see how DNA proves that god didn't create life.

And i'm an atheist!!

Belief in god is, by definition, a belief - god's existence has not been objectively proved. You can not KNOW that god exists using any verifiable, objective evidence.

But by the same token the existence of some aspect or otehr of life on earth does not prove that god does not exist - it is trivial to say "I believe it is that way because god made it that way" - that cannot be proved objectively, but as it is only a belief the believer does not have to provide objective proof that it is true either.

(unless they say it is a FACT that god exists - then you can ask them for the evidence and show it to be true or false and thus potentially prove or disprove the fact)

SOOooooo.......

the rason this is in skunkworks is, IMO, that anything to do with god is, by definition, highly speculative - I cannot prove there is no god (but I believe it), and you cannot prove that DNA proves that god does not exist either.

Thank you for the video link. I am always looking for information about this subject. The video does not prove any thing although it is great food for thought.
