In the vein of mixing terrorism and conspiracy theory (given current events) it is stated in Revelation (The Apocalypse of John) and elsewhere the following:

Christian persecution foretold:

Revelation 13
6And he opened his mouth to speak slanders against God, blaspheming His name and His abode, [even vilifying] those who live in heaven.
7He was further permitted to wage war on God's holy people (the saints) and to overcome them. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

Daniel 7
20And about the ten horns [representing kings] that were on its head, and the other horn which came up later and before which three of [the horns] fell, the horn which had eyes and a mouth that spoke great things and which looked greater than the others.
21As I looked, this horn made war with the saints and prevailed over them.

Now look here:

John 16:2
2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

We now have modern Muslim terrorist which, in jihad, makes the claim that killing Christians and Jews is "Allah's will." This would be a fulfillment of John 16:2. Were we to have a religious war that destroys the Muslim faith (as appears to be imminent) is destroyed, it may become a further political objective to remove Christianity as well -- which could then be the fulfillment of Revelation 13:7 and Daniel 7:21. All religions could outlawed as dangerous to a New World Order. This would be particularly the case were the Muslim war involving nuclear weapons.

Christian "fundamentalists" have long been viewed as obstacles to New World Order objectives. While David Koresh (Waco religious leader) was not a strict fundamentalist, we have an example of the State attacking a nominal Christian religious community -- burning it to the ground and killing 85 people. You will remember the concern with Koresh's group was that they had weapons in their possession.

Were I a strategist of the NWO, I would pit the Muslims against the Christians in a terrifying conflict which, after destroying the Muslims, would then focus on destroying the Christians. In order to do this, there would need be agents provocature in both the Muslim and Christian faiths who, while not actually a member of these faiths, would advocate for the destruction of the other. At some point, when the nukes began going off, the frightened populations of the earth would demand and end to the traditional Muslim, Christian, Jewish faiths -- perhaps even an end to the Hindu and Buddhist faiths. And, at that point, we have this:

"And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the
transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce
countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand
up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power:
and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and
practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people."
(Daniel 8:23-24)

And who is that king of fierce countenance, understanding dark sentences, that shall make war on the saints?

Revelation 17:8
8The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to his destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come.

The beast was... is not now... but will come again. Interestingly the NWO appears to be headed toward global fascist totalitarianism as an objective. And, from above, we learn that there will be no tolerance of Christians. I am reminded of the Nazi Holocaust...

So, to summarize, there seems to be logic in fostering a Muslim/Christian conflict so to destroy the Muslim religion first and then the Christian religion with the goal of heading to a secular global fascist totalitarianism.

Have at this analysis... tear it up... support/refute/criticize, etc.

While I am not a supporter of the conspiracy you have described, I have always felt the World would be a safer place without religion.

Countless arguments and wars have been started in the name of one god or another throughout human history. I believe religions have however in many cases been used as a manipulating tool for the masses and indeed religions may have formed or been created as a measure to control the populace, before structured governments and powerful tools like TV.

Ultimatley, I believe as societies mature and grow religion is becoming a less followed "culture". I forsee religion fading away to nothingness over the next couple of hundread years or so, especially in Western societies.

Maybe I should put that in the prediction forums.
