First 'habitable' exoplanet confirmed

PARIS: A rocky world orbiting a nearby star was confirmed as the first planet outside our Solar System to meet key requirements for sustaining life.

Modelling of planet Gliese 581d shows it has the potential to be warm and wet enough to nurture Earth-like life, scientists have said. It orbits a red dwarf star called Gliese 581, located around 20 light years from Earth, which makes it one of our closest neighbours.

You have to write things into the search bar to make it work.....but you have to actually click it first for it to work....is it really that hard to click a button to see if your thread has already been posted MULTIPLE times on the same day etc????

I didn't see this so sorry if it was posted. This is exciting news. We could one day visit it and I wouldn't be surprised if it contains an intelligent civilization.
