thats fine, while you might not have respect for their beliefs, but i for one respect yours.. but deep down part of you cries out for the answers, or you wouldn't be here having this talk with me would you ?
I believe the universe came from nothing. its part of the chaos theory of creation.. the real question open to debate for me is the order of events, is time linear or is there just the moment? are we all just different manifestations of one mind and are alone here , talking to ourselves.. so my questions i seek answers too, are far beyond what many others want to know.. i mean how would you feel if every body here was just you in a slightly different form... living an eternity without anyone else... now thats what i believe it must feel like to be a god.. so we would choose to forget things along the way, just to make it more fun, you for example, you choose to forget where you came from, thats not wrong, just different, and thats why i could never disrespect you, your just me.. we are all the same just at slightly different times and places, spread though eternity, just having fun.
so enjoy the ride, its all we have at the momentedit on 16-5-2011 by sprocket2cog because: (no reason given)

If you'd be so kind as to recount those experiences for me it would be much appreciated.

Don't confuse your "nature" with notions you adopted as your own. Natural laws huh? So why are you trying to explain the natural with something that is not?

This made sense for me at the time, it came in a natural way for me. I said to my self there must be something more, a god, looking around me at things. It's what made me a beiliver, it's what did it for me.
Later came my expiriance, it is not connected in any way to what made me beilive in the first place, this convinced me 100% that there is a supreme god, a force that is aware, I also learned that there are other things that are not so welcoming and not so good. If you had an expiriance it would convince you too, but because you have not had one then this is why you are doubtful, I really can see that you need proof.

"Don't fight it, don't fight, don't fight it, if you don't know what it is" Im not fighting "it" because I don't know what it is. I'm fighting, to "know" what it is...
Yes, undoubtedly. I have come to my own self actualization that I am a duality of flesh and spirit, not bone, as I suspect was substituted somewhere in our dark past. Flesh and spirit, not flesh and bone. Just a simple play on words to side track the mind set.
to know ourselves is to know what we are fighting
Question, do you think that having believed in god may have predisposed you to interpreting your "experience" as "religious/god"? Is it not possible that you already had the idea that "god" existed and were just looking for things to validate your own faith based belief?
