They were not gods but aliens in india 11000 years a ago.... on space crafts.

Vimanas were the "flying carpets" of ancient India. The Vaimanika Shastra is a text on aeronautics describing "chariots of the Gods". This video clip is a snippet from the History Channel's 'Ancient Aliens' HD series looking at the evidence of ancient aircrafts.

I believe this could have been possible. The great floods when the Ice Age ended; wiped away many cities in the Ancient Rama empire this is totally possible thank you for the thread.

I love Ancient History! Its always intriguing when we find ancient texts that describe technology that shouldn't have been present (according to mainstream history) at the time.
