Witness: Cylinder Shaped UFOs Rendezvous / Transfer Occupants Near Paris, Texas

I received the following email that refers to a remarkable encounter experienced by a very reliable witness who is a notable Southern Gospel singer and musician in Texas and Oklahoma.

"The two objects remained stationary and the only thing that was active were the rotating lights on both objects. After about 10 minutes, the object that came from the north extended a wide red laser or something similar to the other object and that went on for about 15 minutes...they seemed to be a distance between the objects when this wide red laser went to the other object and it reminded me of someone or something rolling out a red carpet. At times, I saw what looked like little black dots within this red whatever."

Great story, but I wouldn't take it on face value without any evidence. Eyewitness Testimony is notoriously unreliable.

ETA: I think it is highly suspect that the man remembered to look at his watch but not take out his cell phone to try and get one of the infamous fuzzy dot photos. Come to think of it, most people dont even remember to take out their cell phones.

I wouldn't say it's proof but it sure adds credibility especially since most that believe in God don't believe in ET.

Could you add more information to this story? When did this happen and what other evidence can be brought forward about the occurrence?

Was this reported to any of the UFO reporting centers? MUFON? Linda Moulton Howe?

Good story but just not enough information to make any real conclusions.

A strange story indeed. An easy one to shoot down, so we think, because it is so unreal. So you are making a knee-jerk judgement based on what we accept as possible according to your experiences? And how do you determine his credibility? Not on the other person's attributes, but what you think about that other person's attributes. Can a gospel singer be a good witness to a strange aerial sighting? Did the witness absolutely claim that God was present and angels were transferring from one of his mighty ships to another? Was there ANY religious connotation to the report? Did the witness seem to exaggerate his account in any fashion or seemed to simple report a very strange event to his obviously--as it would be for all of us--limited knowledge of what he was witnessing. Was this a ten-second sighting, or did he stop his car, get out and watch for several minutes this activity?

Give him a break and admit that the witness as poor as, or as good as, his report was far exceeds your very limited understanding of what is going on in this world. As he mentioned, he has revisited in his mind this sighting many times since it happened. He is puzzled, regardless of his views about ANYTHING! That puts his thinking far ahead of your own. May you have your own bizarre experiences some day and try to explain it to those that deny it. Obviously, it will be quite a jolt to your belief system.

And after all, what did he claim to see that you cannot accept?

When you said cylinder it reminded me of a dream I had of UFO's they looked like cylinders or more like a can with both ends missing like a tube and they were cloaked one with a slight red outline, the other with a blue and the 3rd with a green. It took me until the 3rd to realize I was seeing a UFO. Unfortunately it was a dream, but none the less very interesting.

Was this at night?
The problem with lasers you really cant see them unless there is some sort of media in between? who knows maybe the black dots where the media and the laser light pulsates actually fast which makes it look like the black dots are moving.
Who knows what these clowns that are a million years ahead of us can do.

One thing I have noticed about UFO/Alien posts on ATS where there is a video of a purported UFO or claims from people they have seen a UFO or alien, is that the frist two or three replies, in an overwhelming number of cases, always seem to be from those who 'debunk' the video make or claims of fakery etc.

I get the impression that these kinds of responses either must be from people who are paid to constantly monitor ATS for UFO/alien posts and jump in quick and make debunking type comments or make claims of fakery, or that these kinds of replies come from some kind of automated technology.

And what have pictures ever proved ?
Some of the best UFO reports from the past weren't supported with any photographic evidence yet they are still discussed to this day .
Instead of making a pointless post why don't you see if you can find any other references for the story , maybe someone else in or around Texas saw something that night .

When will people learn that ATS is NOT a ufo site. All the best ufo stuff comes through here and it just gets ripped to shreds. They wheel out oberg and phage and the like to wail all over anything of any substance.
If your looking for ufo stuff go somewhere else.

A very interesting, well-observed report that should be investigated further.

Other witnesses have reported phenomena resembling the "rolling out of a red carpet" in connection with hovering UAPs. Professor Auguste Meessen, formerly of the Catholic Unversity of Louvain, Belgium, has suggested that such effects may in fact be due to ionic plasma waves, phenomena not yet well understood. The red beams would represent emission lines from ionised air molecules, the beams would appear to 'roll out' as the UAP releases more energy causing the volume of ionised air to expand. The 'black dots' would likely be phenomena linked to the changing patterns of plasma waves. The UAPs may have been exchanging information, energy, or something completely beyond our comprehension. I don't think the dots were aliens.

According to the report by the witness, this incident lasted roughly 45 minutes from 10:15pm on a "very clear night".

I just did a quick check for weather on the night of April 24th, 2011 for Paris Texas.

He said it was a very clear night, but weather underground has it documented that there was thunderstorms in the area 20 minutes before the sighting, overcast sky at the time of the sighting and thunderstorms around the time the sighting ended.

Who pulls over their car to notice a little light moving in the sky, especially when aircraft are always moving about in the night sky of Texas?

Well anyway, the weather is the nail to this story, plus if we had a reliable witness, we would of had a full name.

He won't come out with a full name until he has a book about his abductions/inside knowledge of UFOs.
