Just think of the odds of this happening in Fatima in that particular day.
Maybe it was a sign.
Church is one thing.
Jesus and Mary are another.
I like Jesus, i dont like the church.
I Like Mary, i dont like the chuch.
A lot of people were there because they like Jesus and Mary. The message of love, compassion, forgiveness, etc. that they represent.
Just learn to separate people from the church, separate Jesus and Mary from the church, they are very different.

I'm sorry but I don't see anything. If your refering to the halo around the Sun isn't that just a lens flare. Can you even see that with the naked eye?

Also in the picture you provided I only see one person looking up at the sky, which to me suggest this isn't as amazing as your making out.

why be offensive? because i can, because its part of our nature too.
harsh words never killed anyone.
and yes those people have offended me.
by not denying ignorance.
they are all about their god and their religion, but they cant recognize a common event in their god's kingdom.
or should we change the ats motto to "do not deny ignorance if its the peoples belief to be ignorant"?

Just because you believe it's in our nature doesn't mean you need to or should perpetuate it. Why can't a common event be a miracle?

plus im allowed to generalize catholics, they generalize the rest of us too, as sinners or not to be saved.

Talk about ignorance. Pot, meet kettle.

Halo rainbows are quite rare, it is strange that one would appear during this ceremony but hey it is, what it is...a coincidence.

There is no such thing as coincidence.

@AnotherYou - Why do you have to be so negative about something others found inspiring? Just because you read a quote and it doesn't move you doesn't mean you have to decry it until no one gets moved by it. How is a minor miracle a half a world away going to effect you?

Inspiration is powerful thing folks, but what inspires some does not inspire all. Ok maybe it was atmospheric, who cares, these folks thought it was amazing and I think they are entitled to that.

The coloured rings around the sun are a diffraction pattern created by diffraction of rays of sunlight by minute ice crystals in cirrus clouds.

Why must it Always be Ice Crystals causing diffraction....would not very fine metallic particles (chemtrails) also cause this effect?
I would wager that they do......

Lots of Ice Crystals in the sky's these days eh?

Thank you for that reference you quoted. That sounds like exactly the same thing to me.
How does that sound like the same thing?

In the original event some people saw the Sun looking like silver and move (people said that the Sun "danced") while other people didn't see anything happening.

In this case all people (and cameras) saw the circle around the Sun.

Some people are close minded, they are against everything they dont like.
Some people dont know what tolerance is, they are like the catholic inquisition: Dont like it? Burn it.

sorry, i meant in the sense that it sounds like another weather event. heavy rain, break in the clouds, light shining through making beatiful colors. I see this a lot. i have seen the halo round the sun many times. its just when there has been a shower and then there is very very light cloud around the sun. I have seen the exact same thing with the moon many times too.

We have these claimed miracle sightings regularly in my country. Look up 'Knock/ sun dancing/ miracles' on youtube and you will find plenty of clips of the same. In my book its all weather events.

If a person believes enough they can witness these miralces. Thats fine but they are not for me. I do find them curious. Particularly in this case because I believe they need to find another miralce for JP II to become a fully fledged saint. Maybe the locals in Fatima believed they could help him out.

No. Read what I said. Cirrus clouds. Learn some meteorology and perhaps you won't continue to make a fool of yourself. And try clicking on the link i provided that shows DOZENS and DOZENS of photos of similar rings before you offer such a mindless dismissal.
