Hey guys,

Has anyone else noticed that the date on all posts is showing as 09/05/2011 (or 05/09/2011 if your in America and do things the wrong way round =P)...it might just be me thats having this issue, but I would like to have it fixed if possible as its annoying not being able to tell when something has been posted. Its obviously not the biggest deal in the world its just irritating me...
The time seems to be fine as its not the same on every post and appears to be accurate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. =]

I had to get used to the date format.

day - month - year ..... It has always shown that way on ATS and I'm in America.

I think you are missing my point, I understand that being from the UK the date will be DD/MM/YYYY, in the US being MM/DD/YYYY(unless you're on ATS as you just pointed out)...but what I'm saying is my date is ALWAYS 09/05/2011, on EVERY post I look at. This is obviously wrong as todays date is 13/05/2011.

1. Go to your account settings

2. In the field where it says "date format",.set the format you want. I.e.: dd-mm-yyyy, or yyyy-mm-dd, or whatever. I use "j M Y" (without the quotation marks)

3. In the field below the date format is your timezone. Note: You can only set your timezone here. You can't see what timezone you have set. So, after setting it, ignore it if it says a wrong timezone after hitting submit. Always set your timezone after making any changes to your settings

4. Click submit

If you set an actual date, instead of ie. dd-mm-yyyy, then you will only see that date. That's why. Don't set an actual date in that field

Cheers dawg!, you were right, I had set the date for the ACTUAL date that I joined...=/ DURRRR!

This should also sort out your issue of the Date Format OiO, no more "wacky" European formats for you =P haha

I've adapted to those wacky European date formats, don't know if I could go back!

Glad Hellmutt got it sorted for you. Those mods are so smart!

I suppose, no need in turning your whole world upside down for the sake of a date format, although....isn't that why we are all here?...=P

This site is based in Britian, so they would use the British/European way of formatting date which is a reverse of ours...

I use "D j F Y" hmmm......looks like the same? (Maybe the font is different, dunno....)

Oh, nvm....just looked it up again...mine types out the full month word, not just the first three letters...and "May" is the same, either way!! LOL!
